Today Irish Surfing lost a legend, Brian Britton. Brian was a driving force in Irish surfing for many years, he was as involved in the social side as he was in the politics of the sport. He was up for a laugh while also working to keep sponsors onboard. He appointed me to take responsibilty for the technology at Eurosorf '97 even though I was still a student. If you had skills that Irish surfing needed he'd get you involved no matter how young or old you might be.
His impact on Irish surfing could never be overstated both at a domestic level and internationally. A warm-hearted man who loved his sport will be missed by all that had the honour of working with him or knew him.

I will be doing further edits on the WRWC2017 photos and then posting the full-size images elsewhere rather than here. the photos posted to the album have all been resized to reduce any temptation.
