A little patience, a quiet hide, and nature taking centre stage. Join us at Mid Louth Camera Club on Tuesday 13th October at 8pm as we share photographs and stories from our nature shoot in a hide in Portlaoise. New members always welcome!

We’re delighted to welcome Bríd O’Neill to Mid Louth Camera Club this coming Tuesday evening (6th Oct) for what promises to be a fantastic night of photography.

Based in Laytown, Co. Meath, Bríd is an award-winning landscape and travel photographer with a wonderful eye for light, weather and atmosphere. Her work takes in everything from dramatic landscapes and wildlife to beautiful coastal scenes and the night sky.

Bríd will be sharing her photography with us, talking about her approach and the stories and techniques behind her images. It should be a really enjoyable and inspiring evening for photographers of all levels.

Tuesday 6th October, 8pm, St. Brigid’s Hall, Dunleer.

We’d especially encourage anyone with an interest in photography who has been thinking about joining the club to come along and meet us.

New members are always very welcome.

Are you interested in photography and living around Dunleer, Mid Louth, Drogheda or the surrounding area?

Mid Louth Camera Club is welcoming new members!

Whether you’re an experienced photographer, just getting started, or simply enjoy taking photos and would like to learn more, you’ll be very welcome.

You don’t need an expensive camera, you don’t need to know all the technical stuff, and you definitely don’t need to be an expert. We’re a friendly group of people who simply enjoy photography, learning from each other and getting out with the camera.

Throughout the year we have guest speakers, photography talks, practical evenings, competitions, photo outings and plenty of opportunities to improve your photography — all in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Up next this coming Tuesday, November 11th!
We’re delighted to welcome the amazing Darren O’Hanlon as our guest speaker. Darren is the official photographer and social media manager for Bohemians Football Club, one of Dublin’s most iconic teams.

With years of experience capturing the passion, drama, and atmosphere of League of Ireland football, Darren has built a reputation for his creative eye and storytelling through imagery. He’ll be sharing a fascinating look behind the scenes of life as a sports photographer — from the highs of matchday action to the challenges of working in fast-paced, unpredictable environments.

Darren is also known for his great sense of humour and plenty of entertaining stories from his time with the Bohs, so we’re sure it’ll be an evening full of insight, laughter, and inspiration for photographers of all levels.

Don’t miss this one – it’s sure to be a fantastic night!
