Donegal Town Photographer, Barbara McGroary's career started after graduating from the distinguished LYIT College. In the following years Barbara has built a reputation as the photographer of choice across the North West, with an extensive portfolio covering weddings, maternity, newborn, children, families and commercial works. Some days are special, and then there are days that hold a lifetime of memories.

Michelle and Christopher had planned a very special day for their baby boy,Conor’s Christening, and a blessing for Kayden with 30 of their closest family and friends. But little did their guests know, there was an even bigger surprise in store… they were about to witness Michelle and Christopher say “I do”! 🥹💍

Michelle was accompanied up the aisle by her four sons and her father, in a moment that will be treasured forever. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as emotions overflowed and tears of pure joy were shed. ❤️

After the wedding ceremony, the celebrations continued with the Christening of baby Conor & Kayden's blessing, making this an extra special day for everyone.

Three incredible milestones, one unforgettable day, and memories to last a lifetime. From“I do” to “God bless”, this was a celebration of love, family, and the beautiful life they have built together.

The death has occurred peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital of Helen McGroary, nee Bushe, Old Golf Course, Donegal Town, Co. Donegal. F94 K290.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Peter, parents Joseph and Margaret Bushe. Brothers Pa**ie, Kevin, Vincent and Benny. Sisters Winnie, Mona, Patricia, Mary, Kitty, Angela, Annie and Eithne. May they all rest in peace.

Much loved and deeply regretted by her devoted family, sons Vincent (Deirdre), Gregory (Sarah), Peter (Liz). Daughters Eileen (David) and Barbara. Her cherished Grandchildren David (Amy), Caolan (Jenna), Raymond (Niamh), Megan (Rose), Aonrai, Matthew, Jacques and Isla. Great Grandchildren Joey, Cillian and Ellie Anne. Nephews and nieces and by all her extended family, neighbours and friends. ‎Reposing at her late residence on Wednesday and Thursday from 2pm to 8pm each day. Funeral mass on Friday, 2nd October in St Patrick's Church, Donegal Town at 11oclock followed by burial afterwards in Killymard Cemetery. House private on the morning of the funeralplease. I had the pleasure of photographing 'The Kelly' family on the beautiful grounds of Harvey’s Point.

With family home from Vancouver, London and Sligo, Sabia thought a family photoshoot would make the perfect gift for her parents — and I couldn’t agree more. There’s something so special about having everyone together.

Sadly, one brother was stuck abroad and couldn’t make it, but he was very much part of the plan and wanted the family to go ahead without him. Hopefully I can work a little editing magic and find a way to add him into a few of the photographs!

And the weather… we absolutely struck lucky! ☀️ The rest of the day was a complete washout, but for the short window we needed, the rain took a break and gave us the most beautiful conditions.

Here are just a few from their session. A lovely family, a very special gift for Mum and Dad, and memories they can keep forever. ❤️
