I had the honor of being invited into a very special garden to document its beauty just as it is. This stunning image of a peacock butterfly among the blossoms felt like a gentle reminder of the love and memories rooted in this beautiful place.

She said YES in Mullaghmore. 💍

Last Saturday, I got to photograph one of those moments that just felt perfect.

Shane had planned everything so beautifully. A place that has been special to him since childhood, his family nearby, Maddie’s family there to meet them for the first time — and a few very well-hidden loved ones waiting patiently out of sight. 🥹

Then he asked the question…

And Maddie’s reaction? Absolutely priceless. 🤍

The love, the laughter, the ring, the happy tears — all against the backdrop of Mullaghmore, with a little bit of light Irish rain thrown in for good measure.

And the timing couldn't have been better. We had just captured the moment and all that beautiful newly-engaged joy when a busload of tourists arrived to admire the view. 😂

From Chicago to Charlestown, Bundoran to Mullaghmore — somehow, this was exactly where their story needed to be.

Congratulations Shane & Maddie. What a beautiful moment to witness.

Thank you, Emily & Sam, for inviting me into your home and garden to capture some memories for you, your children and your grandchildren — especially in the moments just before the eclipse.

I absolutely love the group photograph we captured during this session. There’s something so special about seeing everyone together, and to me, it’s the epitome of family — love, connection, laughter and generations gathered in one place.

What a beautiful set of memories to have, made together in your own garden, just before such a magical moment in the sky.

Early mornings, quiet beaches, lots of laughs and a whole lot of love

I met Beth & Oliver at Murvagh Beach bright and early, before the crowds arrived, and it was the perfect way to spend a morning with these two. They are so incredibly easy and natural together — full of laughter, little moments and that lovely kind of connection that makes photographing couples such a joy.

And then there were Sadie & Charlie 🐶
We may have temporarily kidnapped these two little cuties from their mummy, Joanne, for a few photos… thank you for letting us borrow them!

Murvagh is such a stunning spot, and we got the best of both worlds — the beach and the forest — giving us so much variety for their engagement shoot.

Beth & Oliver, it was an absolute pleasure capturing you both. What a beautiful morning & congratulations on your engagement

Some wedding moments are planned… and some are simply beautiful little moments that unfold naturally.

Derek had sent Noreen a beautiful bunch of flowers and a card, and as she read his words, the emotion became a little too much.
Luckily, videographer Simon Gillespie happened to have a handkerchief in his pocket — and, ever the gentleman, he quietly handed it to her.

A small gesture, but one that says so much about the kindness and warmth surrounding Noreen & Derek on their wedding day.

A Beautiful Donegal Love Story

What an absolute pleasure it was to capture the wedding of Rebecca & Kevin at the beautiful Castle Dargon Hotel, surrounded by family and friends who had travelled from far and wide to celebrate their love. ❤️
From the moment you witnessed these two together, it was clear that they are simply meant to be. There was such a genuine connection between them — the kind of love, friendship and happiness that shines through without needing to be spoken.
One of the most touching moments of the day came from Rebecca’s daughter, Layla, whose sincere and emotional speech said everything. She spoke so beautifully about Kevin and how happy he makes her mum, making it very clear that, in her eyes, Rebecca had found the right man.

And of course, no family member was going to miss out on the celebrations… even their much-loved dog Angus made it to the venue for some very special photos! 🐾

There was laughter, happy tears, heartfelt words, family, friendship and so much love throughout the day. It was a privilege to witness and capture it all.

Rebecca & Kevin, thank you for allowing me to be part of such a special chapter in your story. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together. ❤️

A beautiful couple. A beautiful day. A beautiful Donegal love story.
