Suzi Diamond who is a survivor of the Bergin Belsen concentration camp, she was 2 and her brother was 5 when they where found when liberated. I have been a fan of Mr Rory Gallagher for a long time and had chased photographing his 1961 Fender Stratocaster for about 10 years but it was always "on tour". Recently the family had decided to auction off some of Rory's instruments including this guitar so i made arrangements to get access at Bonhams auction house in London (who I cant thanks Sasha enough for!) in order to have an hours shoot time with this beauty.

It has mileage on it..not that much paint and you can see the soul of the guitar, the part in the photo has a blue tint off it from
Rorys jeans. Looking forward to seeing more of the collection before its sale this month. Sometimes..a camera and an idea gets you to see some deadly things..this was special.
