Resist.
Last Saturday I launched a new series of postcards. To celebrate, I led my first set of photowalks around Dublin 8 as part of The Liberties Festival with a couple of wonderfully curious groups, we sipped some coffee in my office courtesy of Two Pups Coffee, and raised a few glasses in Hopeless Botanics plant shop to celebrate (thanks Glendalough Distillery for continuing the botanical theme!).

The city rewards attention. Within its streets and structures, another landscape quietly takes shape: plants pushing through cracked walls, neglected gutters, vacant sites and forgotten corners. They reveal places that have been left to time.
Photographed throughout The Liberties, these images are observations of urban flora growing beyond gardens and intention. Buddleia appears throughout the series, alongside other species that have found unexpected places to take hold; persisting wherever the built environment begins to loosen its grip.
Resist. is a collection of ten photographic postcards. Together, they invite a slower way of moving through familiar spaces, where wandering, looking and noticing reveal a shifting botanical landscape woven throughout the fabric of Dublin’s streets.
