Recently picked up the skew chisel after not using one for years. Currently takes me about twice as long to make a tree using one compared to the multi tool method as I'm still a bit nervy and don't have as much control as id like, but oh boy does it leave a smooth finish.

Have a few trees for sale, €10 per bloke, give me a shout if you're in Dublin and want one 🎅🎄

Irish woodoworker Pat Murphy from tells us about how he got started in the craft. His first big hit, his wooden reindeer, kept him afloat in the early days when he had just gone full time, and the world entered lockdown.

Santas reindeer have travelled the world, but so to have Pats, with him sending some to mainly Irish customers in the US, Austrailia, Asia, and most counties in Europe. 🦌🦌🦌

It's a soil additive that acts as a reservoir for nutrients, water, and air helping things grow better! 🌱

Tim from the Way Out West Youtube channel tells us about this incredibly safe momentum gear wheel used to slice wood and grind charcoal 🫡🪵.

The wood is sliced, then burned to make charcoal, which is then ground finer and inoculated to be used as a soil additive to aid the growing of crops.
