Cards of support from Irish Children to Ukraine - RECEIVED
Someone we know has contacted me because they have been able to get these lovely well-wishing cards from Irish children through to the Ukrainian front line and they wanted the children who wrote them to know that they received them and that they are very grateful for these little messages of support.
We have no way to know which school organised them, so perhaps if the message is shared, it will get back to these children sometime in the future. (I have erased one child's surname for privacy). I know that children all over the country have done things like this, so, even though this is just a small selection, it is good to know that their kind work is getting to where it is intended.
I'm rarely on FB, so I don't post much, so I'm not sure what kind of reach this message will have, but Ireland is a small place, so hopefully it will get back to those involved and they will know that they touched the hearts of some of those who are fighting so bravely during this horrific ordeal. We get the 'news' here, but until you hear first-hand accounts, you cannot fathom what people are going through. Their bravery is incredible.
