f1.8, f1.4 or will I go mad and do an f1.2
L-serie or move away from Canon all together
Why use a mouse if a drawing pad works just as well ...

Am I really already taking a headdive in all the pitfalls there are at once?

No, I'm not!

I will start off slowly, expand the glassware collection with a 50mm f1.8 somewhere this weekend. But most importantly, I will be getting a card reader sorted so I can do something with the pictures other then look at them on a 2x3 screen. Can't wait to do some post processing on the shots that I snapped and see what the general consensus is about them.
