As a member of the Dublin Filmmakers (DFM) community, I am proud to share MARE, the latest project from the community of filmmakers in Dublin. We are a dedicated collective focused on producing high-quality, independent Irish shorts.
Directed by Dylan Delaney, MARE is a psychological gothic film that explores the boundary between art and nightmare. We, filmmakers, are operating on a lean, transparent budget to showcase the best of Dublin’s creative talent. Myself and Dave McHugh, a retired RTÉ Radio Producer, collaborated recently to conduct a series of unscripted interviews in Dublin City. This initial project served as a test of the format that we plan to utilize moving forward.
Mr. McHugh demonstrates a natural talent for engaging conversation, asking insightful questions and weaving in relevant historical details throughout the discussions.
We have produced a four-part series from these initial interviews and wanted to share it with you as part of our ongoing development process.

Equipment used
Canon XA60 with a shock on my microphone.
Insta360 x4 mounted with DJI this microphones.
