Sunday at All Together Now for The Thin Air

Sunday was the perfect closer for a near perfect weekend. Highlight performances for me were Self Esteem, Underworld, Kate Nash, Soda Blonde, King Kong Company and Moonchild Sanelly. This is my final daily roundup from ATN, but I've still got a few more posts to come from across the weekend!

Saturday at All Together Now for The Thin Air

Saturday was ridiculously stacked, I wasn't sure how I'd even manage to squeeze every act into the one post, but I somehow did. Started off the day with a surprise appearance from Greta Thunberg. Then shot lots of acts I love - SPRINTS, the Wallopers (twice in one day), Gilla Band, Maribou State, Ezra Collective, For Those I Love (After Dark), David Kitt and MayKay. And made some pleasant discoveries in Maruja and W.I.T.C.H.

Friday at All Together Now for The Thin Air 📸

Spent Friday shooting a variety of familiar favourites - For Those I Love was absolutely incredible as he always is, great to see Gurriers and SexyTadhg rightfully taking over the main stage and Babyrat were a blast as always. I love Irish music, I love photography, I love ATN!!

Thursday at All Together Now for The Thin Air 📸

Back once again at my favourite festival! I love Thursday at ATN, always a great warm up lineup, a chance to wander the site and get settled.

Based Festival 🇮🇪 9 in Button Factory on Sunday 📸

Thanks to and all the Based team for having me as always. I was blown away by the bands playing at this edition, some really high energy, amazing crowd interaction, great stage presences. Based provides such an important space for young bands and fans alike, long may it continue!

The Cure at Marlay Park for The Thin Air 📸

This was a really really special one, a very big pinch me moment, getting to photograph The Cure is an experience I'll never forget. Just absolutely iconic.

Big thanks to The Thin Air as always and Sabrina from Mission PR / MCD.

* Wide shot of the stage in slide 13 was shot on my phone from the crowd as a fan with a ticket, my professional cameras were put away and turned off after first 3 songs.

🔴 Sunday at Beyond the Pale 🔴 for The Thin Air 📸

Sunday at Beyond the Pale was one of my favourite days at any festival ever! Just an absolutely stacked day. Plenty of acts I've wanted to photograph for a long time - NewDad, Father John Misty, Of Monsters and Men, witnessing the new project of the legendary Mike D of the Beastie Boys, finally understanding the hype around Madra Salach, the shoegaze goodness of Dream Boy and Croíthe, RÓIS' magic - just all around a perfect day to close out the festival.

Dún Laoghaire with .brother a few weeks ago 📸

Big thanks to Ronan and his amazing band for having me along on this one. Twas an absolutely spectacular gig, I've been listening to his tunes since around 2018 and he's the best he's ever been at the moment! Go see him!
