It was great to be back at Trinity College today. Examination Hall is a stunning venue though not an easy one for a photographer. Here are some highlights from Past vs Present fencing match - full gallery coming soon so stay tuned. Big thanks to Dublin University Fencing Club for having me again - truly enjoyed the experience.

Autumn is here - looking out the window there can be no doubt about that. I am not the biggest fan of this season - no amount of colours and pumpkins can change that. But there is some silver lining - it’s time for some cool nature photos :)

This time of year is here and I hope I will be able to make it to Killarney really soon. Would love to do some hiking apart from the traditional deer photos. Although from what I see I may be a bit late for the main action. Here are some snaps from last year featuring one particularly vocal stag and his family.

Last set of highlights from FIE Satellite Dublin 2026 - both galleries are now available - check the link in my bio. If the photos are not there they do not exist… I tried my best to capture as many athletes as I could in the allotted time.

Used Nikon Z8, Nikon Z6II, Nikkor 70-200 and Sigma 25-70 Art.

FIE Dublin Satellite 2026 is behind us - full gallery from Day 1 is now available (check the link in my bio). Day 2 gallery is coming tonight so stay tuned. Here is another set of Day 1 highlights. National Indoor Arena is a great venue and it was a pleasure to work there. Thank you to Fencing Ireland for having me again for this event. The amount of work done by all the volunteers who made this event possible was just incredible. Much appreciated the support and kindness of referees and athletes.

Used mostly Nikon Z8 with 24-70mm lens, Nikkor 70-200 for closeups, Nikon Z6II as a support and backup.

Day 2 of Dublin FIE Satellite tournament is done and dusted - emotions were high at National Indoor Arena and some great performances delivered by international athletes. Here are some highlights from today - more images coming soon so stay tuned.

Back at National Indoor Arena after a while and for the FIE Épée Satellite Tournament nonetheless… weekend with fencing at its best - great athletes from around the world competing in Dublin. Here are some highlights from today - full gallery coming soon so stay tuned.

Coming back tomorrow for ladies competition with my Nikon Z8.

Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith - especially when there is a hungry pine marten snapping at your heels - rain or no rain. This red squirrel gave its 110%, no doubt about that - and she made it.

Taken with good old Nikon D850.

The second set of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic highlights. Great event, weather in Dublin not necessarily the most welcoming though :) North Carolina Tar Heels defeated TCU Horned Frogs 15-10. The game marked the opening fixture of the 2026 college football season.

Nikon Z8 delivered again in rainy conditions - love this camera.
