I am a photographer living in Cobh, Co. Cork, Ireland. Born and raised by the sea and country side, I was fortunate enough to grow up amidst spectacular scenery. That and with an innate artistic view to everything in life, I developed a passion for photography. I originally studied Interior Architecture and Lighting Design in Cork Institute of Technology. Before the recession in 2008, which seems like a life time ago, I was an Interior Lighting Designer for domestic, commercial and retail projects. You may have seen some of my work in many of Corks night life spots, restaurants or at the award winning lighting design at Rocky Island crematorium. At that time, I did not think that the skills I gained over the years creating, designing and illuminating architectural spaces would be the first step in following the light to photography. I truly enjoy photographing and capturing the emotion people display and the connection they have with each other. The best photographs I have shot are when people forget the camera is in the room. The best way I find in achieving that is a balance between making people feel at ease by connecting with them and by fading into the background of the event. Benny

I reckon I was born 5 years too early to appreciate when I was growing up how technology could be used to allow people enjoy photography and share their photos with friends and family at ease, almost instantly. None the less in my youth I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Nokia N95, a camera phone with a Flash!, this was rare in 2007, it was 3 years before an IPhone had a camera flash. “Who made that camera and who gave it to that man?!” cried my best friend as everything and everywhere was now in reach form my pocket. The Nokia N95 travelled with me from Dublin to London, Singapore, Japan, New Zealand, Los Angles to somehow living on the island of Cobh County Cork. Always capturing moments and always sharing photos. I am constantly snapping, recording and being creative, documenting my and the people around me, memories. Weddings were therefore a natural fit for using my photography skills and knowledge of technology. Allowing you to have access to all of your photos, allowing you to share your photos in formats you prefer, in secure methods. You can really tell when someone has put their heart and their soul into expressing their love, in front of their world on their wedding day. It is hard not to watch and be in awe, record it in your brain (and not your camera) and let emotions grab you but as wedding photographers we love capturing those moments. Those emotions fly into the camera lens, photographing them is a great experience. That’s not to say those who are more conservative in their own approach are any less of an experience, it is their own way, and that comes across, when you do it you own way and the joy shines through, in all light. We want to help you have your special day how you envisioned it. Call Us

We would love to meet you so please do give us a call and tell us your plans for your special day, Give us a call 0877003791.

Sophie and Luke travelled home to Cork to celebrate their wedding with family and friends, with the whole day taking place at Garyvoe Hotel.

The morning got off to a lively start with Lynn O’Leary and Lizzy Desmond back for a second wedding in a row with us, taking care of hair and makeup. Juniper Rose brought the fresh flowers, while Wondrous Weddings transformed the ceremony room.

There was a beautiful reveal with Sophie and her dad, followed by a first look with Luke, family photos in the library, then off to Ballycotton Cliffs for bridal party and couple photos before the ceremony.

Caroline McCarthy from Spiritual Ceremonies led a ceremony packed with personal touches, including their own vows, sand pouring, a string quartet and plenty of involvement from their guests.

Getting the photos done before the ceremony meant they could actually enjoy a nice long drinks reception with everyone, before their entrance into the banqueting room for some very funny speeches, a beautiful first dance and a lively dance floor with the guests.

A brilliant day from start to finish and a pleasure to capture. Congratulations, Sophie and Luke 🤍

Maeve and Bryan got married on one of the hottest days of the year and somehow managed to look ridiculously good while the rest of us melted.

The lads got ready in Bandon at Bryan’s home place, before nipping over to their new house for a few photos, then heading on to the church. Maeve had her girls with her, with Lynn O’Leary on hair, Lizzie Desmond on makeup and Catherine Sheehan creating the flowers.

There was plenty of craic with the family and then came the car. A beautiful vintage car that had once been part of Maeve’s family, tracked down especially for the day, brought Maeve and her dad Liam to the church.

The ceremony was seriously musical, with a full choir, singing, instruments and Maeve herself even taking to the mic for a song.

Ice cream outside the church was very welcome in the heat, before Maeve and Bryan jumped back into the vintage car and headed to Maeve’s parents’ place for a few photos, then on to Fernhill House for more photos around the grounds.

There was an upbeat music from Next Generation, Sarah the wedding illustrator sketching the guests, speeches before dinner and then Hell for Leather took over and packed the dance floor.

A brilliant couple, a brilliant crowd and a seriously memorable day. Congratulations, Maeve and Bryan.

Cathrina and Clīodhna, a Kerry wedding with absolutely no shortage of scenery, music or reasons to stay on the dance floor.

We started with both mornings getting the girls ready, with Eleanor’s Flowers on bouquets, Maura Johnson, Sharon O’Sullivan, Erin H***e and Georgina Mackessy looking after hair and makeup, before heading to the breathtaking views at GarryWilliam overlooking Bandon Bay for a first look and cliffside photos with their bridal party.

Then it was over to Ballygarry Estate for a beautiful ceremony in the Lodge, with Sarah Collins, the Irish celebrant, leading the ceremony and Eva Downey providing the beautiful music.

Because so many of the photographs were ticked off before the ceremony, the afternoon was all about family, friends and a seriously good drinks reception. With plenty of musical talent among the guests, instruments appeared, voices joined in and the whole thing quickly turned into a full craic.

There were also some fun activities for the guests, a beautiful cake from Heavenly Bakes and just when we thought Kerry had thrown everything at us, an incredible sunset gave us the perfect excuse to hop into the Ballygarry VW van and head out into the fields for a few more photographs.

A pretty spectacular day for two pretty spectacular brides. Congratulations 🥂

Ava and Andrew celebrated their wedding in their home parish of Fermoy, with their beautiful little girl, Fiadh, surrounded by family, friends and plenty of good craic.

They got ready at their parents’ houses before heading to St. Patrick’s Church, Fermoy, where Father Casey took care of the I dos, Sarah Barry absolutely wowed everyone with her vocals and even a bit of rain couldn’t stop the ice cream cart from keeping everyone happy outside.

To Have and To Hold decorated the church and venue beautifully, while Every Blooming Thing took care of the bouquets. From there it was on to Fota Island Resort, where we managed to dodge the showers for some photos in the gardens before heading into a drinks reception featuring jazz, caricatures, cake display that looked too beautiful to eat and something we’ve never seen at a wedding before, mini golf for the kids and the big kids.

We captured the day in photo and video, from the morning preparations right through to Hell For Leather bringing the energy and filling the dance floor for the rest of the night.

Congratulations Ava and Andrew, it was an absolute pleasure to capture your day.

Tricia and Jonathan celebrated their wedding with their friends and family, beginning with a beautiful ceremony in their local church in Ballincollig, before making their way to Fernhill House for an unforgettable celebration.

We captured both photo and video from the morning preparations right through to a packed dance floor. The lads had a relaxed start with suits and champagne pops, while the girls got glam with Sarah Cummins on makeup, Dawn on hair and Wondrous Weddings creating the stunning bouquets and ceremony décor.

Tricia arrived in style in Pat Fitz’s beautiful vintage car before walking up the aisle with her dad to say, I do, with Father Ronan Sheehan leading the ceremony. Midnight Melody kept guests entertained during both the ceremony and drinks reception.

At Fernhill House, we made the most of a lovely long drinks reception, with plenty of time for photos and some hilarious speeches that had everyone laughing. The celebrations continued with cake cutting, a surprise singing chef that got everyone involved, before Pat Fitz took over later that evening and had the dance floor full until the very end.

It was such a pleasure to be part of your day. Congratulations again, Tricia and Jonathan

It was a real pleasure to capture Clodagh and Sean’s June wedding. We were delighted to be back with them after their engagement shoot the year before, this time capturing both their photo and video from start to finish.

The day began at Sean’s family home, with the lads making the most of the morning, while Laura was with the girls as Clodagh got ready, with plenty of beautiful handmade touches. Hair by Patricia from Lavender Macroom, makeup by Susan from The Beauty Suite, and flowers by Darling Buds.

The ceremony took place in Gougane Barra, with Fr O’Mahony officiating, and music by Sarah Toomey. We were treated to some of the calmest weather we’ve seen there in years, the water was like a mirror, making it the perfect backdrop for photos.

A quick stop at Cronin’s Bar for a well deserved pint and a few more photos, before heading to Muckross Park for the rest of the photos, then on to the Killarney Oaks Hotel for the celebrations. Edel Bakes created the cake, and Ian Hendrick kept the dance floor full all night.

Clodagh and Sean, thanks for having us along to capture such a brilliant day. Congratulations again.

Eimear and Colin celebrated a perfect family wedding with their two little girls right at the heart of the day. The morning started with the most relaxed bridal preparations before heading to the picture perfect Gougane Barra, where they said their I dos, guests wowed everyone with their musical skills, Wonderous weddings decorated beautifully and we snapped all the moments before making their way to the Angler’s Rest for a laid back celebration with their closest friends and family.

From heartfelt, hilarious speeches to a stunning cake by Trace of Cakes, every part of the day felt effortless and full of personality. The girls were involved from start to finish, having just as much fun as the grown ups and once the DJ got the party started, everyone made the most of a the bright evening before the sun set over the marquee at the Angler’s Rest.

Congratulations, Eimear & Colin 🤍

Kelly and Eoin, what a way to celebrate. The day began in Eoin’s home parish, with the two of them getting ready in neighbouring houses before the lads took the shortest stroll imaginable over to the church. Kelly looked amazing thanks to Jessica O’Sullivan on makeup, hair by Mare and Tracy from Florist 4 U who created the beautiful bouquets and decor. The vintage yellow convertible made the journey to Farnivane Church with Kelly and her dad even more memorable, roof down and all.

After a beautiful ceremony celebrated by Father Finbar Crowley, we stayed around the church where so many family memories have already been made, before making our way to Muckross House and Gardens for photographs in perfect conditions. The celebrations continued at Killarney Oaks where Tara and the team looked after everyone so well. Sax Appeal kept the drinks reception buzzing and gave the couple an unforgettable entrance into dinner, before speeches and Arklight filled the dance floor to round off a brilliant day.

Thanks so much for having us capture both photo and video Kelly and Owen, wishing you both a lifetime of adventures together.

Some weddings feel a little extra special and this was one of them. Before they even had a venue booked, Evelyn & Daniel got in touch to make sure we were free, and after photographing Evelyn’s sister’s wedding, and one of her bridesmaids’ weddings, we were delighted to be back with the crew again.

The day started in Faithlegg, with the lads getting suited and road ready, while the girls settled into the bridal suite with Audrey Upstyle Ju**ie on hair and Glamour by Dawn on makeup. Marie from Fleur De Lis by Marie worked her magic with the flowers and there was plenty of catching up before the day got moving.

From there, it was over to Holy Cross Church, Tramore, where Deborah Murphy and String Quartet set the scene before Evelyn and Daniel said their I Do’s. Then it was straight to Jack Meade’s for part one of the drinks reception, a few pints, a few photos, and a careful eye on the rain showers.

Back to Faithlegg for the rest of the portraits, speeches during the drinks reception, a beautiful cake by Trace of Cakes and an evening of entertainment from Flog The Dog.

A brilliant day from start to finish, congratulations Evelyn and Daniel.

Hannah and Cathal did their wedding day exactly their way.

The morning started at Fernhill with chess, suits and a very relaxed crew on one side, while the girls were busy making bouquets, sharing plenty of laugh and even holding a vote on whether the ceremony should be indoors or outdoors.

With Hannah’s father officiating in the Fernery, ice cream in the gardens, a first dance in the bar before heading back to the drinks reception, speeches in the drinks reception and a dance floor group photo instead of a traditional first dance, this day was packed with personality from start to finish.

Safe to say there wasn’t much rule following and we loved every minute of it.

Congratulations again, Hannah and Cathal 🫶
