Week 13
Food photography & Social Media
BA Culinary Art
Year 3
I changed my theme a little, classes are online from the house because of crisis COVID-19
The first idea was a ''raw food production'' but with the time taken pictures, I liked the idea of one product on a black background.
This is the last week of photography adventure. I spent that time editing photos and I made some new shots.
I am very happy that I could take part in this module 😃
I learned a lot about photography and light.
What makes me happy is that I started using my Canon more often than before, only on manual settings, which is very big progress.
Another thing I learned during this module is photoshop, this powerful software helps cover all mistakes, make colours more expressive, never thought I would be able to edit photos in this software.
Taking pictures is a very nice job, but it requires a lot of creativity, a sense of composition, and basic knowledge of camera settings.
Making the first pictures wasn’t easy it took some time to understand how to use correct camera setting, but when I understood it, making photography was a pleasure.
Here are some picture ''behind the scene'' shows how my photographies were made in a homemade studio.
Another post shows 6 pictures, I decided to use in my project.
Every photography has an explanation of how was made, what equipment I used and about camera settings. All pictures I made on a Canon D600
