St. Theresa's Church (Clarendon St).
And once I walked through the door I was in total awe at the opulence, size and the architecture within.
As we were three girlfriends on our way to afternoon tea just across the road our time was limited here and it is now definitely on 'my to go back to' list of places.

With its tall masts visible from across the harbour the decision was made today would be a good day to conquer the pier....

With its tall masts visible from across the harbour the decision was made today would be a good day to conquer the pier. This would be the triumph in the ordinary.
It came to light with the Phoinex as its backdrop, held together with a criss cross of ropes and rigging that all of life was to be found here.
Children and families happily fish by its side, couples holding hands and many a fluffy canine enjoying sniff lead walks with their humans.
As I merged into the tapestry of it all the conversation with the unacquainted began.
With talk of hopes, dreams and adventures yet to be realised, the lyrics of Beckett carried on the summer breeze out to sea.
Time passed quickly and enjoyably as the sun lay low and the skies rushed huridly by. Now time to leave.
I had conquered this pier, becoming part of the story. Leaving with a fuller soul.

This mornings post is an overlay of two images.
Yes that's me in the background, yet another Selfie taken in a bid to fill a void in creativity while also working on my self acceptance through use of a lens.
With the second image in the foreground taken by another. And an image I could only dream of capturing.
While making, or playing if you like with both of these it reminded me that when we are prepared to share what we do well with another it gives freedom and allows for tapping into their potential.
Keep making space for creativity 🩷.
