The High Cross at Old Ray Church (just outside Falcarragh in County Donegal) stands at 5.56 meters (about 18.2 feet) tall. It is widely celebrated as one of the tallest—and oldest—surviving medieval stone Celtic crosses in all of Ireland

While I was out for a cycle through Malin today, I could see the weather beginning to turn, so I decided to pull in at Centra Malin for a break. It was there I crossed paths with a man undertaking an incredible journey: cycling around the entire coast of Ireland on a custom tall bike he built himself. He had started his trek in Cork and had successfully navigated his way up to Inishowen, with Derry as his next destination. I offered to get him some breakfast and tea, so we grabbed some food from Centra and sat out on the Green for a long chat, trading stories while he rested before the next leg of his adventure. I cycled Carndonagh back with him to Carndonagh
