I'm almost ready for Art Evolve this weekend in the RDS, Dublin. I will be at Stand 10, and I’m bringing some new work with me that I’m very excited to show.

This piece, Held Between Tide and Sky, was made on Baltray Beach, close to home. It shows the old shipwreck after dusk, with the full moon in the distance. The whole scene felt quiet, calm, and slightly unreal, which is exactly what drew me to it.

If you’re heading to the fair, do pop in and say hello. I’m always glad to have a chat and help people find the right artwork for a home or office.

If you’d like an e-invite, just DM me your email address.

Some photographs ask to be made one way, and then finished another.

This was taken at Rinn Point in County Donegal on a very bright sunny day in September. I had first noticed the rock formations when I was heading to photograph Largy Waterfall, and they stayed in my mind, so I came back another day to make work there properly.

Because the light was so harsh, I leaned into that and turned the image towards something much darker and more atmospheric. I wanted it to feel almost like a moonless night scene, quiet and stark, with the pale water holding its own against the weight of the land. I also love that Sligo, my native county, is visible in the distance across the horizon.

The photograph is titled The Silence at Rinn Point No.1 and is available as a limited edition print.

A recent commission for Burke-Kennedy Doyle Architects Four & Five Park Place, Dublin.
A refined composition of glass, stone, and warm metallic tones. A seamless addition to the city’s business district.
Always a pleasure collaborating with architects who value light, proportion, and texture

Inside The Sidings: daylight, warm materials, and an elegant reception foyer designed by TOT Architects.
It was a privilege to photograph this space and capture the quiet harmony of materials, light, and form.

I recently had the pleasure of photographing The Sidings, designed by TOT Architects, beside Dublin’s Grand Canal Dock.

The building’s facade combines pale brick, bronze detailing, and clean lines, forming a calm and considered presence in a dynamic urban setting.

This image is part of a series shot at the shipwreck at Baltray Beach. It is a striking reminder of how time and the elements reshape everything in their path. I enjoy capturing transformations - in this case the ship slowly being returned to nature.
