A great opening night last night for 2026 at One Charlemont Square in Dublin. Spread across two expertly curated floors, the exhibition drops a pin on Irish contemporary art, delivering fearless work that embraces experimentation, emotion, and individuality. From emerging voices to established names, Art Riddler continues to champion artists willing to push boundaries and resist convention.

One of the aspects I liked most was that — unusually for an open exhibition — the walls weren’t crammed to the gills with art, instead allowing the works to breathe and be experienced individually. People paused and really immersed themselves in each piece.

Well worth a visit if you’re in Dublin this weekend. If you’re not, you can read the latest blog on my website. Link in bio.

"Blue Heat" - delivered to One Charlemont Square for Art Riddler 2026. This is developing into an exciting showcase of contemporary, edgy art - bold and unafraid. Kudos to the mysterious curator/benefactor

With an alluring air of mystery, both the masked benefactor and the lineup of artworks on sale are generating a high level of interest in the media and among collectors.

Looking forward to the opening on Thursday 6pm. The exhibition runs from 28th May to 31st May.

Art matters because it makes us feel. This image “Decapitulation” appears in the latest issue of Wildscape Literary Journal in response to the tragic killing of Lamon Wiggins. In 2024 a group of students of an inner-city school in the US were celebrating their graduation day. A car drove onto campus and the occupants of the car began shooting. One of the graduates, Lamon Wiggins, was shot and killed while trying to push a friend out of the way of gunfire.

This issue is a gathering of artists and writers from across the globe to reflect on the senseless violence we experience daily – to digest, to protest, to rail, to rant, to purge and ultimately to heal.

As an immigrant from South Africa, where gun and knife crime is part of daily life in some areas, I was compelled to add my voice. Strictly speaking “Decapitulation” is no longer a word, however, it does encapsulate the notion of losing one’s head (decapitate) and succumbing or surrendering (capitulation). One can see the image in many ways: an expression of rage, energy, a sense of discombobulation, disconnectedness… there are no wrong answers, it is about feeling.

With deepest sympathies to Lamon Wiggins’s grieving mother and admiration for the editorial team who dedicate themselves to making a difference through literature and art in Wildscape Literary Journal. In the words of the editor, Ophelia Monet: “Our goal is to blend whimsy with chaos, ethereal with truth, gentle with wild. We want to make you feel.”

It was a very special evening at the Women In Art Fair private view where “The Chemistry Of Me” made her debut. Thank you to the people with the vision to champion women’s art - the judges, organising team and collectors.

The was established to help redress the perceptual imbalances and gender pay gap in art, giving women and women-identifying artists a unique platform to showcase their work. The exhibition is supported by some impressive sponsors and collectors, including

Packed and ready to ship to London … “The Chemistry of Me”.

I am fascinated by the chemistry of light and time - through their delicate interplay we discover new ways of seeing. The body and its objects in synthesis to form a new whole.

You can see the work at the Women In Art Fair from 7 - 10 May at the OXO Gallery, Barge House, London 11am - 17:30 each day.
