If I could pick just one single thing I miss from a covid free world it would have to be live music. Myself and has gone to a huge amount of gigs over the years. Todays memory is this shot from an amazing show 3 years ago in featuring and an amazing array of musicians from around the globe. The show was a showcase of the album "Chronicles of the great Irish Famine". An album that was many years in the making. We have seen Declan live probably 40 times at this stage and this is the first year in a long long time that we won't. Hopefully 2021 will bring us and many others back to our happy places. #

The view over towards cahersiveen from directly over leacanabuaile fort. You can see ballycarbery Castle in the centre far off in the distance. This whole area would have been significant in the war of the three kingdoms between Ireland, Scotland and England in the 1600's. I could only imagine what and archaeological dig here would produce.
