Right in the middle of gathering everyone for family photos… this happened 😅 (perfect timing, really)
A little shoe crisis, a bit of problem-solving, and a pause in the timeline — but no panic, just people stepping in and figuring it out together.
These are the moments most people don’t expect on a wedding day, but they’re always part of it.
And honestly… they’re part of the story just as much as everything else 🤍

Recently I was going through lot of my photos from last year and noticed something.

The images I’m most drawn to are often the quieter, slightly different ones — the moments that aren’t staged but just happen.

This photo is one of them. Captured while second shooting at Cabra Castle last year.

A small, quiet moment… and somehow I just love it.

This morning Leitrim woke up covered in frost and sunshine and it instantly brought me back to this March 2025 morning.

Simon’s groom prep at had the best energy — no stiff poses, just a quick spray of aftershave by the window, colourful duck socks, his dad helping with his tie, and one very resourceful moment involving a lighter and a rogue thread from his trousers 😅 🧯

Cold beers out on the terrace like it was mid-July and a proper crew of legends. 😎

This is why I love photographing groom prep — it’s relaxed, it’s honest, and it’s full of personality. Groom prep will always have my heart. 📷👌

As the grid shifts from winter tones into spring, this feels like the perfect in-between.
