On Friday June 27th The Parish of Ballinabrackey and Castlejordan bid a found farewell to Fr. Halpin.

Fr. Halpin has been in Ballinabrackey for 18 years and has become a true member of the community.

There was very clear message from everyone on the evening "Thank you for all the support you gave to everyone Fr. Halpin. Please remember to visit us often".

We would like to wish him all the best in his new Parish of Summerhill.

Ballinabrackey Gaa are having a 24hr Cyclethon on May 3rd.
See below for all information.
Wishing them the Best of Luck

On May 3rd 2025 we are having a 24-hour Cycleton to raise funds for both Ballinabrackey GAA and Alzheimer's Society of Ireland.

We will be having everyone from the club joining in on this monster fundraiser. From Underage Kids to Seniors and Parents.

Starting at 7am in the Kinnegad Plaza, we will have someone Cycling non-stop throughout the day.
Everyone is going to take half an hour slots.

As we wrap up in Kinnegad at 7pm we will have someone ready to hop on the bike in The Village Inn Castlejordan. Continuing there until 1am.
We will move up to The Boyne Park where we will have people ready to keep the cycle going through the night.

We will cover everyone's cycle by posting everyones stint on our Social Media platforms.

People are more than welcome to join us at any of these locations to cheer us on.

Last Sunday Ballinabrackey's Seconds kicked off their season with an away game to Bective.

Nothing could split the sides come the full-time whistle. But not bad for a bunch of lads who didn't know if they were going to have any football about a month ago

Ballinabrackey Gaa U11's hosted Longwood and Summerhill on Sunday morning.

The conditions were horrendous but the kids really shone through not letting the rain stop them from showing off their skills.

Well done to everyone involved. It was lovely to see so many kids enjoying their football

Sunday morning saw Ballinabrackey host their Underage open day. Alongside that they opened their new Astroturf pitch thanks to Aisling Dempsey TD, Padraig Coffey FF and Joe Fox FG.

It was fantastic to see so many young children out getting involved and kicking some ball around.

Ballinabrackey hosted Wolfe Tones Saturday afternnon in round 2 of the PR Coyne Adult Football League.

In horrible conditions for both sides it was The Bracks who came out on top making it 2 from 2 in this years league so far.

They have a week off this weekend before they make the short trip to Summerhill for Round 3

Paddy's Weekend saw the start of the Adult Football League for the Meath Seniors.

Ballinabrackey travelled to face Seneschalstown for Round One.

It was Ballinabrackey who came out on top seeing off Seneschalstown by 2 points when the full time whistle was heard.
