I remember when I started shooting portraits and had no idea where to begin. What lens do I even need? How do I make my models feel comfortable? Why do my photos look flat after editing? Nobody tells you how many little things go into a single good portrait. 😅

This video is basically everything I wish I knew packed into one place. Gear, posing, editing… Not from a technical textbook perspective, but from actually figuring it out over years of shooting.

If you’re at the beginning of your portrait photography journey, or even if you’ve been at it for a while and something still feels off, I hope this saves you some of the time it took me to get here.

The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 is finally here! 👇🏼

I filmed this cinematic video in Bali, and I’m shocked by the upgrades when comparing it to my beloved Osmo Pocket 3.

These are some of my new favourite features, but expect full reviews and tutorials soon:

• 14-Stop Dynamic Range: For me, this is gold when shooting in VERY sunny scenarios. Living in Bali, you can imagine… 😅

• 4K 240fps: This feature is actually insane. You can see it in the last shot. The slow motion is so smooth, and it looks so cinematic.

• Photography Resolution of 37MP: I’ll make an entire review dedicated just to this upgrade because, as a professional photographer, I’m shocked! I already shot some photos in raw, and the details and dynamic range are incredible!

• Active Track 7.0: As a solo traveller and creator… You can only imagine why I love this feature. I can record my photography vlogs alone and make it look like someone is actually recording me.

• Built-in 107GB storage: This is massive! No need to worry about forgetting your microSD card. 😅

And many more features I’ll cover in future videos, but these are my personal favourites from this pocket-sized video camera.

Some days I still can’t believe this is real life…

A few years ago I had no idea that picking up a camera would lead me here. Working from beautiful places, creating content for brands I love, and building something that is completely mine.

Being a remote photographer is not always glamorous, but it is ALWAYS worth it. And the best part? You don’t need a big team or a fancy setup to make it work.

Just a camera, A LOT of curiosity, and the willingness to figure it out as you go. 💕

It took me years to get here because I had to learn everything on my own.
