Tingkepan adalah tata cara dan tata upacara masyarakat Jawa yang dilaksanakan ketika kandungan seorang wanita mencapai usia tujuh bulan dan ia mengandung yang pertama kali. Tingkepan disebut juga mitoni. Pelaksanaan tingkepan biasanya dilaksanakan berdasarkan hitungan neptu (hari lahir dan pasaran calon ibu dan calon bapak misalnnya hari Senin pasaran Pon) untuk mencari saat yang dianggap tepat, kondisi calon ibu dan juga segi kepraktisan.
