Mirrorless camera has become a very powerful camera nowadays in capturing most kinds of photographs and it is very well known that most professional photographers have switched from the old Digital single lens reflex( DSLR) to mirrorless. Not only does it produce good quality images but also are of cheaper price.

We thought it was a bad weather for photoshoot at Penang bridge, so we slept in and cancelled the plan. Just when i woke up at 7am, i guessed we were wrong. This is the morning scenery over Bukit Mertajam, Penang, shot from the place i stayed, with 25mm Zuiko prime lens, with Olympus Em10 mark ii.

Penang doesn't have much natural landscape because it is an urbanized city. When i am out of idea of where to shoot, cityscape is the my next best choice.

Straits quay is a place located at Penang island where most tourists would come to visit. It is also a famous place for most people to hang out during festivals especially at this moment- Christmas. Hint for photographers out there, if you decided to do some photography at the famous places like this, remember to get permission from the management before you start to shoot. :P

Other than just landscape photography, today i decided to do something different, something i have never done it before. I asked my girlfriend to dress nicely to be my model today. Since i was gonna take her single shots, i thought maybe i should dress up too, just in case i would wanna take photos with her.
Today i went back to the location i used to do landscape photography. I was pretty lucky that today's sky was awesome, and the air was clearer than before.
This shot was taken with my camera on a tripod, who was my camera man :D , with a WiFi remote on my left hand.

Trying out the Olympus 12-40 pro lens. While i was setting up the tripod suddenly a security came and stopped me. He said i gotta get a pass in order to get permission to photograph their premises. Hence i left for the control room, thinking i might be missing the best moment. Luckily it didn't happen and i was still able to get what i expected.

In terms of photography, the first time we came here wasn't successful. Once we got out from the train, we saw fog had engulfed the city, or perhaps it was pollution. We got very disappointed. That's why we came to this place to give it a second attempt. Photography is about getting up early to the shooting location because you don't wanna miss the best moment. That being said, we were almost late to catch the earliest train at 0630 this time.
I quickly handed my friends the tickets once i heard the beeping sound from the train. Once i rushed towards the train the doors were starting to close. 1 of us managed to get in, 3 of us didn't. At one moment i was thinking this is it, may be we need to come back again the next time to get the sunrise shots. However the guard was kind enough to ask the operator to open the door for us after seeing us panic.
Although this sunrise might not be the best we could get, well, it's still something😄
