Theres always something about sunrises that sets itself apart from sunsets. Calm, quiet, and serine, while most other's are still fast asleep.

Taken in Khao Hin Lek Fai hill of Hua Hin Thailand. To be honest I wasn’t expecting these results when I photographed the monkeys. I had no clue just how many facial expressions they were able to make, just like us. You can almost feel their emotions through their eyes. I was also stunned by the different body types and personalities each seemed to portray. These monkey’s are different from your typical monkey’s in more touristy area’s, because they are more calm towards human beings, thanks to the good caretakers that feed them daily. The best time to visit this hill would be for sunset, when the light is less harsh on their skin and fur. I used my Canon r7 with rf18-150mm kit lens at maximum zoom, while sitting relatively close to them, and getting the camera low on the ground for more background blur. If you look closely at some of the pictures, you can see me in the reflection of their eyes.

lempuyang temple 2018... sometimes what seems like bad luck turns into something unexpected and beautiful, and this is a perfect example. and I arrived a bit early to the location before dawn to try and beat the crowd, but to our disappointment, the surrounding was completely engulfed in fog. then I noticed the two spotlights illuminating the center of the gate like a stage. so we decided to start shooting right away. by the time sunrise came, the fog lifted, and that moment forever gone. as a photographer, I’m always humbled by these experiences, and the unpredictability of photography as an art form. You only have partial control, and the rest is up to nature 🙏

Monks on their daily walk on the U-Bain bridge. its a really exhilarating experience waking up at 4am and sit there waiting for the monks to start walking by. At least when I was there, the entire country seemed to be engulfed in this “orange haze”, that made the picture look more dreamlike. its unbelievable that my first destinations in asia of 2016 (after considering taking up photography as a serious hobby) turns out to be my personal favorite captures to this day. I do feel I’ve lost the same spark to travel and explore since then, but the appreciation for the art of photography has never faded.

my personal favorite clip of all time... so...I really wanted to show this in high definition and maximize the details. so I pre-cropped it and sharpenned it to fit the biggest possible size on this platform. To be quite honest, as a photographer, this is not the ideal place to be showcasing your work in high detail quality. but its a good place to quickly and efficiently share 👍, but always trying to push their resolution limits to the breaking point 😆

taken in 2018... probably the best I’ve seen of Tegalalang rice terrace to this day, and I’ve been there a countless amount of times. it was a sunrise mission on this particular day with as the model.

And... one more photo from Japan. I will most likely get this one printed out and hung on my wall because its such an iconic image of Japan. simple and beautiful 👌
