๐‘ฉ๐’๐’–๐’ˆ๐’‚๐’Š๐’๐’—๐’Š๐’๐’๐’†๐’‚ ๐‘ป๐’“๐’†๐’† ๐’๐’ ๐‘น๐’–๐’Š๐’๐’”

An ode to hope, gentleness, and strength.

Once buried beneath thick volcanic ash and stone, nearly two thousand years later this bougainvillea blooms againโ€”its bark strong, its flowers vibrant against the ruins of Pompeii.

I found myself pondering the unseen process of becoming: how many seeds of potential lay dormant in darkness for centuries, deprived of the conditions needed to grow. And yet, as sunlight, rain, and warmth touched the land, tender shoots began to grow once more.

It reminded me that something good might come of thisโ€”our whole struggle of being aliveโ€”that the shatter would be cleansed, that new life would emerge, and that life, in its mysterious persistence, continues. Perhaps things become good again when we learn how to trust the all-encompassing forces of nature.

This ancient strength withstands time and spaceโ€”innate, unborn, unmade, and indestructible.
