💦 As soon as you step beneath the surface, you feel like entering a dream...

And much like a dream lasts for a single night,
a visit to the underwater world only lasts for a single breath.

Just long enough to catch a glimpse
and feel the magic. ✨️

It's the beauty of ephemeral,
but it's also a bit frustrating, right ?
Maybe that's why I feel compelled to bring something back : a proof, a memory...

✨️ I didn't expect this exhibition to change the way I think about my work.

When I started working on it, I mostly wanted to see what would happen when these images left my computer and entered a physical space.

But seeing people stand in front of them, talk about them, connect with them (and sometimes see something completely different from what I had imagined), made me realize how much I want these photographs to exist beyond my screen.

So this is actually what's next.

A new chapter for these images.
And, hopefully, the beginning of their journey into other people's lives.

✨️ I just turned this photograph upside-down, and somehow it changed the whole feeling of the image.

It's one of the things I love most about working underwater: gravity becomes ambiguous and the familiar can start to feel strangely unfamiliar.
