One shot, six hits.
The submarine I-19 rewrote history on September 15th, 1942.
With a single salvo, she sank the USS Wasp, and fatally damaged two othersâall in under ten minutes.
In this artwork, I wanted to capture that moment:
Not the explosion, not the destructionâ
But the silence before it all.
A calm predator. A sniper in the deep.
The layered torpedoes, the murky green ocean, the faint rays from the surfaceâ
All were built to reflect the tension beneath.
