If you travel to Taipei, do visit Solo Singer Inn at Beitou. The inn and neighborhood are rustic, quaint and charming. What I love most about the place is the slow life vibe. I reckon it would make a perfect setting for a Wong Kar Wai movie.

Bhutan provided me with the map and compass to find happiness. The Bhutanese people have shown me that it is the little things that truly matter in life. Love, Family, Health – they are all you need to be happy.

I am forever grateful to Bhutan for helping me to find my way when I was lost in the doldrums. This album with photos taken on my recent trip in Winter 2014 is dedicated to Bhutan and its people.

Eight years ago, I started my photography journey in Bhutan. The happy Himalayan Kingdom changed my life - it gave me a purpose and that's to explore, discover and photograph the world, and meet with people from all walks of life.
