Last weekend I hit Denmark for the first time and a part of it was visiting a small island on the west called Fanø. Rented a bike and made a quick half day trip around the island with my medium format and some BW rolls. This is what came out of it. Lot of nature, farms, cattle and horses and prosperity. I would say "happy people" as well, although for me being happy is a much complex emotion to describe :) So I am not sure, but, people seem to be extremely calm and relaxed.

Pretty surreal.

I got the BW fever.

Re-editing one of my digitals from Japan. This is from the hike in the night to Fushimi-inari. I kinda feel taking away the color also takes away some distraction. I start to notice the typography, the pattern that the Toriis create when lights strike from the side and it also expresses the calmness of the place better.

It seems like the fever's gonna stay for a while ;)

Developed a roll of film at home for the first time ever. Messed up a few things, but overall I am happy that I understand how it works. Next time better results.

Another attempt to re-edit one of my old landscape shots. This one was edited with Fuji Pro 400H as well. Just because I like that film so much.

I will be doing a series of such edits and posting here regularly. Keep looking!

Re-editing one of my old digital shots. This is pretty much the first time I am looking at my digital pictures again and re-touching them since I started shooting film. I feel my eyes have tuned to the colors of the films I like. I think this one turned out to be similar to Fuji Pro 400H. Also, the border looks pretty nice I feel, maybe I make a print of this one. Share this post if you'd like one. I could give away a few ;)

Shot some medium format Neopan Acros 100 for the first time. I love how the contrast is more gradual on this one unlike the HP5+ which is more extreme. Still have two more left in my bag, will try some night shots :)

Got my first ever analog/dark room print from my favorite lab lab4art. It looks so much more organic and natural. I can't wait to learn the technique and do it on my own.
