We love documenting folk traditions📸🥰Easter in Hungary is a beautiful blend of Christian faith and old folk traditions.
One of our favorite traditions is Easter Monday, when the famous “locsolás” takes place: boys sprinkling girls with water (yes, really 😄). It used to be done with cold water from wells or streams, believed to bring health, beauty and renewal.In return, the girls give painted eggs : a symbol of new life 🥚✨😉

A mix of tradition, fun and a little bit of chaos… and we still love it. ☺️ 📸:

In 2017 we attended our very first Fearless Conference in Budapest. To be more precise, we helped to organize it. Huy trusted us with it & was nerve-wracking. 🫣 We didn’t know if it would live up to the Fearless standards, but we loved every second of it.

Now, years later, we head home from the Firenze...and our hearts are full of gratitude for this incredible community and for all our photographer friends from all over the world.
So much has changed since 2017, but not our love for this community.❤️❤️

Side note, I feel much more comfortable behind the scenes, organizing a conference, than on stage, but I am truly grateful I could be part of the panel discussion this year. 🙏❤️📸

So here comes the third post of our favourite couple portraits series❤️

Is this one our favourite because of an incredible venue?A fancy wedding? A super technical photo that was hard to create?

The answer is NO!!

But this wedding was definitely unforgettable for us. A super fun weekend, far away from everything ( no phone signals) ,where the couple and their guests were there for one simple reason: to celebrate and truly enjoy each other’s company.

This photo was probably the only “formal” portrait we took of them.Because they specifically asked for documentary style memories.
And hearing that from our couples always makes us so happy,because that’s exactly what we love most.
Lisa & Rory, if you ever plan an anniversary celebration, just know we’re already packing our cameras 😉🤗
