The Tulip Stairs 🌷 are the first centrally unsupported stairs in England, copying a Venetian model. The stone treads lock perfectly into each other and the wall, requring no central struktúra and creating the famous upwards view.

The striking wrought-iron rail has been restored to its original smalt blue. It has long been described as showing tulips but they are probably lilies, the royal flower of France, in compliment to Henrietta Maria.

Is this Hamburg’s best-looking bridge?

If you’re looking for the ultimate insider tip for photography in Hamburg, there is only one answer: the Old Harburg Elbe Bridge.

This stunning steel arch construction has a way of fascinating you every single time. Whether it’s wrapped in thick fog, covered in fresh snow, or glowing under the deep red of a winter evening sky, this spot never misses. While it looks timeless in black and white, it truly takes on a “very special touch” the moment the industrial lamps flicker on at twilight.

Don’t miss this mesmerizing symmetry spot in India, located deep within the heart of the Mysore Palace!

The Ambavilasa (Durbar Hall) is a masterpiece of Indo-Saracenic design, featuring a rhythmic progression of gold-leafed pillars and checkered marble that creates a flawless vanishing point.

Completed in 1912 by architect Henry Irwin, this stone structure replaced an original wooden palace that was destroyed by fire during a royal wedding in 1897.
The architecture is a brilliant fusion of Hindu, Mughal, and Gothic styles, specifically designed by the Wodeyar dynasty to be both fireproof and grand.

For photographers, the hall offers incredible leading lines and intricate stained-glass ceilings imported from Scotland. To get the best shot, align your frame perfectly with the center floor tiles to emphasize the intentional geometry that leads directly toward the royal throne.

Save this spot for later!

The church that‘s still not finished after 140 Years…

Barcelona’s Sagrada Família is not just a church - it’s a living masterpiece. Designed by Antoni Gaudí, construction began in 1882 and continues to this day, making it the longest-running architectural project in modern history.

Blending Gothic and Art Nouveau styles, its towering spires and nature-inspired details are unlike anything else in the world.

Gaudí envisioned 18 towers and filled the interior with tree-like columns and vibrant stained glass, creating a space that feels both spiritual and surreal.

To mark the 100th anniversary of the death of Antoni Gaudí on June 10, 2026, all six central towers (including the 172.5-meter-high Jesus Christ Tower) as well as the main facades are scheduled to be completed. With this, the basilica will officially become the tallest church in the world.

The final decorative elements and the monumental Glory Facade are expected to be completed by 2034.

Best time to visit?
