Yes, I'm small. Yes, I'm fragile, and all the diminishing adjectives you want to give me. Sure, I'm all that, to you.
I still have value, same as everyone else.
The key is not diminishing someone else for you to feel valuable; it is knowing that regardless of anything, we are all part of a bigger something.
Without this lil , this shot wouldn't be as special. Without the this shot wouldn't be complete. Without the sun, it would lack the sense of .

I pass these statue children everyday, and I didn't know what they were or why they were there.
Thanks to a friend now I know, this is a representation of a scene from the Hungarian classic "Pál utcai fiúk" ("The Paul Street Boys") by Ferenc Molnar. Everyone mentions this book to me, I have to find an audiobook in English to listen to, and of course the audiobook in Hungarian to learn more and practice the language.
It's so cool to be so close to a scenario featured in a literary classic. These are the things I adore about Budapest. 💜
Shout-out to who maybe has more photos of these boys plus many more awesome statues of influential Hungarian people.

Someone: "So, what are the plans for tonight?"
Me: "Dunno. I'll be staying at the Hobbit's house so I'll maybe listen to some audiobook and chill."

I'm partially blind. All my photos are shot with my phone. I don't have prices, you pay what you want/can.
I've been getting messages asking for shooting dates. So now you know.

My photography took a pause. It is a shame because to me, autumn is one of the nicest seasons for photography. But I also have to be kind to myself. I was going through a depression relapse. Long story short, my bank cards stopped working, both. I managed to survived with the help of friends, but I ran out of antidepressants and those visits to the therapist are costly. It

You know that crippling vibe
Just a few seconds before
You invite the beast inside
And it shuts tight the door
You know, you can't hide
You are safe no more.

Share the space, of that tiny room
Hear the scream of impending doom
Bouncing mad, from wall to wall
It's coming, oh so soon
It, or you
One shall fall.

Let the shadows dance and sing
As the cold begins to sting
With every harsh and hurtful word
Fighting back, it is not worth
For every move you make
It will use as your mistake.

"I won't break down,
I'm better than this
At least I won't jump off from a bridge,"
It said to you, with a sour scowl
Finally for good,
turning off your switch

And you ran into the night
It was clear, you lost your mind
And you walked toward that bridge
You fulfilled its biggest wish
To put someone stronger down
Its symbolic, powerless crown

It disguised as a close friend
It made you low your guard
So you did not defend
And then it hit you hard
You knew its real intend
And still, you played the part.

There you stood on the very edge
Staring at the dark waters below
One false move, one more step
You couldn't fix it later, you know
It, or you, one must go.

Why you? This is your home.
It came to visit, now IT must go
You have the right, to live where you chose
You've done no wrong, and it knows.

Please get down, come back here
You've come so far to let it win
"Get back now!" I yell in fear.

One step back, then another
Now please go home, and call your mother.

You're safe... You're free...

I've been dehumanised. I've been objectified. I know what it is to feel "less than human."
I've been idealised. I've been overly praised. I know what it feels to be "more than an average human."

In both cases, the seemingly good and obviously bad, I've experienced the sense of alienation. "Exotic," "inspiring," "under-prepared," "too smart for a girl."

My only wish, to be a ghost. To fade among strangers, alone, I enjoy the most. I am human. I'm simply not seen as such.

So I sit here, right after dawn, before the crowd comes, before the city's buzz, and let myself fade. My dreams and hopes, my search for a home, all dissipate...

There's another statue, somewhere far, another dog near a train station, waiting for a friend who never returned. If I'm not mistaken, it's in Shibuya.
In this shot I want to mix both concepts, the blind leading the blind, the friends waiting in vain. Three spirits of the underworld, a blind ghost, a blind man and a dog, silent, unmoved... Hidden from the sun, destined to turn into stone. No one will come. "The Ghost of Budapest" - Kosuth Lajos metro edition.

As artists, we are in a neverending process of learning, perfecting and evolving our skills and developing our unique style. I'm happy to say that I'm no exception to this, and recently I have learned how to create and combine photos in a way that is so joyful to me. I hope that this post can inspire you to get out there and do your own thing as well. [ 560 more words ]
