I understand the emotion that motivates this proposal. When a people are exhausted, they look for strong measures.
However, the debate should not be driven by anger, but by principles.
Yes, we all share a portion of responsibility for the country’s situation.
But responsibility is not equal at every level.
Even if, historically, we are all heirs.
An ordinary citizen has duties.
A public authority, entrusted with a mandate, carries greater responsibility because it holds decision-making power.
Asking that a representative live in the same reality as those they represent is not an act of hatred.
It is a demand for consistency and exemplary leadership.
However, residence alone is not enough.
What we need above all are:
competent leaders
ethical governance
a culture of accountability
a genuine commitment to the public interest
The debate must move beyond emotion and become part of a broader reflection on governance and shared responsibility.

Je comprends l’émotion qui motive cette proposition. Lorsqu’un peuple est épuisé, il cherche des mesures fortes.
Cependant, le débat ne doit pas être guidé par la colère, mais par des principes.
Oui, nous avons tous une part de responsabilité dans la situation du pays.
Nou sommes historiquement tous des heritiers, mais la responsabilité n’est pas équivalente à tous les niveaux.
Un citoyen ordinaire a des devoirs.
Une autorité publique, investie d’un mandat, porte une responsabilité plus grande, car elle détient le pouvoir de décision.
Exiger qu’un représentant vive dans la réalité de ceux qu’il représente n’est pas un acte de haine.
C’est une exigence de cohérence et d’exemplarité.
Cependant, la résidence seule ne suffit pas.
Ce dont nous avons besoin avant tout, ce sont :
des dirigeants compétents
une gestion intègre
une culture de responsabilité
un véritable engagement envers l’intérêt général
Le débat doit dépasser l’émotion et s’inscrire dans une réflexion plus large sur la gouvernance et la responsabilité partagée.

Men responsabilite pa egal pou tout moun.
Yon sitwayen òdinè gen devwa li.
Men yon otorite ki reprezante yon komin, yon depatman, oswa tout peyi a, gen yon responsabilite ki pi lou. Paske li gen pouvwa pou pran desizyon ki afekte lavi lòt moun.

Si ou reprezante yon pèp, li nòmal pou ou viv nan menm reyalite ak pèp sa a.
Se pa yon kestyon pinisyon. Se yon kestyon koneksyon, konpreyansyon, ak egzanp.

Men an menm tan, rete nan yon komin pa ase pou chanje sistèm nan. Sa ki pi enpòtan se:
entegrite
konpetans
sans devwa
respè pou byen piblik
Nou bezwen mwens emosyon, plis prensip.

Every machine built here is a victory for agriculture and for the future of the country.
