In the presence of the First Lady of Cameroon, diplomats, ministers, partners, designers, alumni, industry leaders, and distinguished guests, we gathered to celebrate a week that showcased the creativity, talent, and innovation of a new generation.

AFRICA’S TIME IS NOW.

Last night, under the lights of the Grand Défilé of the Centre des Créateurs de Mode du Cameroun CCMC Fashion Week 2026, nine emerging designers stepped onto the runway, not just to present collections, but to showcase vision, talent, courage, and possibility.

In the presence of the First Lady of Cameroon, government ministers, ambassadors, partners, industry leaders, and an audience that believes in the power of creativity, the winners were announced. But beyond the awards, something even greater was revealed.

A new generation is rising.

A generation that creates, innovates, and dares to dream on a global scale while remaining deeply rooted in its culture and identity.

The CCMC once again demonstrated that Cameroon is not merely participating in the global creative conversation: it is helping shape it.

From craftsmanship to innovation, from entrepreneurship to artistic excellence, last night’s runway was a powerful reminder that Africa’s creative industries are not the future.

They are the present.

Congratulations to all nine incubées, to the laureates, to the mentors, partners, and to the entire CCMC team whose vision continues to open doors and create opportunities for the next generation.

Cameroon showed the world what it is made of.

The world is no longer asking what Africa can become.
