Alexandra & Markus had a rainy wedding day back home in Germany.
So when they came to Croatia for their honeymoon, they brought their wedding dress and suit with them with one simple wish: to have the sunset wedding photos they didn’t get on their wedding day.
We chose Punta Planka, far from the crowded summer beaches, where the Adriatic, rocks and open sky gave us exactly what we were looking for.
We started in the warm evening light and photographed until the sun slowly disappeared into the sea.

Just when it felt like the session was over, I asked them:
“Do you want to stay a little longer for blue hour?”

Luckily, they said yes.

Sometimes, I meet couples for the first time on their wedding day.

With Natalia and Ivan, that was exactly the case. We had two video calls before their wedding — the first simply getting to know each other and talking about their plans, and the second, just two days before the wedding, going through the final details of their day.

And then we finally met.

The first thing Natalia did when we arrived was welcome us with a hug. From that moment on, it somehow felt as if we had known each other for years.
Their family and friends welcomed us in exactly the same way — not simply as photographers who were there to document the day, but as part of it.
There was so much warmth, laughter and genuine emotion throughout this wedding that words could never tell the whole story.
So I’ll leave the rest to the photographs.

Dear Natalia & Ivan, thank you for your trust, for making us feel so welcome, and for giving us such beautiful memories to take home with us.

Every wedding leaves something behind.
Sometimes it’s a beautiful venue.
Sometimes it’s unforgettable light.
And sometimes it’s the people.

Sabrina and Ryan travelled all the way from the U.S. to celebrate their love in the heart of Tuscany. Watching them enjoy every single moment together reminded me why I love doing this.

Just two people completely present with each other.
Being trusted to document a story like theirs is never something I take for granted.
Thank you for welcoming me into one of the most important days of your lives.
I hope every photograph brings you back to this feeling, no matter how many years pass.

One of the things I’ve learned over the years is that a wedding doesn’t need hundreds of guests to feel unforgettable.
Sometimes it’s just two people, a few of the ones they love most, and the freedom to spend the day exactly as they want.
That’s what I photographed here.
No timeline chasing perfection.
No performance.

I’m bringing back so many wonderful memories from the wedding in Tuscany.

Even though it was one of the hottest days of the year, everything unfolded in a relaxed and easygoing way exactly as it should on a wedding day.

The whole story with Sabrina and Ryan began back in 2024, when I photographed their engagement on Hvar. Our mutual satisfaction led to us meeting up at least once more this time for their wedding.

It is hard to capture the beauty and emotion of the entire day in a single post, so this will be just one in a series.
