Ponovno sam posjetio vrh Oštra (796 m) nakon dužeg vremena, to je jedan od ljepših vidikovaca iznad Gospića. Do vrha vodi Palatinova staza iz zaseoka Podoštra, a laganim hodom do njega se stiže za oko 40 minuta. Na vrhu se nalaze ostaci nekadašnjeg vidikovca, klupe za odmor i kontrolna točka planinarske obilaznice „Lički gorski biseri“.
S Oštre se pruža prekrasan pogled na Gospić, Ličko sredogorje, Zir i vrhove južnog Velebita. Za vedrog vremena pogled seže daleko preko ličkih polja i planina, što ovaj vrh čini jednim od najzanimljivijih izletišta u okolici Gospića.
Lijepo je imati ovakvu prirodnu ljepotu na dohvat ruke. Lika je zaista posebna.

I revisited the summit of Oštra (796 m) after quite some time; it is one of the finest viewpoints overlooking Gospić. The Palatin Trail leads to the summit from the hamlet of Podoštra, and it takes about 40 minutes to reach the top at a leisurely pace. At the summit, there are remnants of a former lookout point, benches for resting, and a checkpoint for the "Lički gorski biseri" (Lika Mountain Pearls) hiking trail. Oštra offers a magnificent view of Gospić, the Lika mid-mountain range, Zir, and the peaks of the southern Velebit. In clear weather, the view extends far across the fields and mountains of Lika, making this summit one of the most interesting excursion spots in the Gospić area. It is wonderful to have such natural beauty right at one's doorstep.
Lika is truly special. 🥾⛰️🇭🇷
