The future of automotive content just arrived in Hong Kong.

The New Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric was announced globally only today, but it is already on the ground at the Hong Kong Harbour.

Traditionally, we would be waiting weeks for the press car to arrive in Hong Kong for its brief APAC tour stop—leaving only a tiny window to capture local assets. By using AI to ground-truth the specs from the official Porsche configurator, that bottleneck has been completely removed.

We can now create hyper-realistic, localized content the moment a car is unveiled.

Any spec. Any location. Zero wait time.

The gap between a global reveal and local relevance has officially closed.

No time like the present (New Year’s Day 2024) to make some changes. This year, I’m committed to hearken back, cherish, and reflect on old imagery (shown here) and reinforce the creative energy behind this type of work moving forward. I’ve been shooting commercially for too long, and while my clients’ success is paramount, I think I lost some creative flow in the process. Starting now, that’s going to change - more creativity, and less bowing to the client’s who have ulterior goals. Let’s see what happens........ Wishing all of you a similar kick in the pants.

Reviving some archival imagery to show you where it all started. I feel this imagery better represents my Vision as a photographer, where I prefer to be defined, regardless of subject matter.

This upcoming trio was shot on Fujifilm Provia 100 and then drum scanned at high resolution. I also played around with a substance called liquid latex that was painted on the model. It was such a cool experience doing this project

What does electricity look like? And how do you align that with a brand's luxury and sophisticated appeal?

We challenged ourselves by tackling this new project collaborating with Mercedes-Benz for their new EQC electric SUV. We decided to make the car glow with a blue light to visualise energy along with a contrasting orange with the street lights, and a subtle magenta is equal amounts across all 5 finals.

Special thanks to Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong for this wonderful opportunity to push our creativity and our craft, as well my wonderful team who worked tirelessly towards a common goal.

For Audi HK social media marketing. Shot in the densely packed Hong Kong streets at sunrise while people are just on their way to work. Trying to keep it simple using natural light but prefaced with a lot of planning to get sun and ground shadow positions where I wanted.
