I have always wanted to visit Tibet and finally in May 2017, I made it there. The altitude sickness was challenging and the constant presence of Chinese surveillance was uncomfortable on many levels. Lhasa feels like another Chinese city. On the bright side, most of the Tibetan Buddhism sites are breath-taking and rich in history. What really touched me is the Tibetans' deep faith, their devotion to prayers and rituals. Watching them prostrate gives me the sense of humility, as if letting go of the ego you carry to some higher being. Tibet is an experience, most days it's not great and one can only imagine how different this country would have been if the Chinese did not take over. All photos are taken with the Nikon-FE, Tri-X 400 film.

10 cities in 15 days journey across Japan with my Nikon FE, which broke down after 2 rolls of film. Here are some of my favourite shots of Japan, empty train stations, a Showa era cafe and Iya Valley. There is something so beautiful about Japan's countryside, especially when it's emty, the stillness is almost poetic.
