Hi everyone. This is the page of Lingnan Literary Journal 2016. We would like to provide you with the latest information regarding the Journal in this page.

Editorial Statement
The editorial staff of the 2016 issue of Lingnan’s literary journal consists of students from different years and majors who have come together to make your literature dreams come true! 2016’s journal will be amazing, and like nothing you’ve seen before. Help us make it happen by submitting your work for publication!
Submission Guidelines
We are looking for:
Literary Work:
Fiction of any genre: no more than 5000 words
Creative non-fiction, including memoirs, literary journalism, and film, art, or book reviews: no more than 5000 words
Song lyrics (original or adaptations): no word limit (please include original lyrics if you submit an adaptation)
Poetry: no more than 40 lines each
Translation: contemporary works preferred. We welcome translations from Chinese, Russian, German, French, Turkish, Tagalog, or Spanish. Length limits are the same as for English submissions for each genre. Please include the original work as well as your translation.
Drama: no more than two acts
Graphic narratives (comics): no more than 10 pages
Artwork:
The journal seeks visual art submissions to supplement the literary pieces. Please send us JPGs or TIFFs of your:
drawings, paintings, photographs, collages, calligraphy, sculptures, blueprints (architectural or for 3D printers), or any genre of visual art we have left out. Files should be no larger than 20MB; if your file is larger, please contact the editorial staff at [email protected].
Previously published works are welcome, as are works which you found under your bed after years and have now edited and improved. You can submit any number of works (though we probably won’t publish all of them). We are sorry we cannot offer payment for your work, but you will get RECOGNITION by *the best philological minds of LNU* and the respect of your friends, to whom you will brag about being published.
