More couples are finding ways to bring Chinese elements into their wedding day.

It does not have to be a fully traditional Chinese wedding. It can be a detail in the styling, a change of outfit, a colour choice, or a way of setting the scene.

For Josephine & George’s wedding at Amanyangyun, Shanghai, Chinese elements came through embroidered silk, red petals and floral details, set against the venue’s historic architecture and gardens.

The result felt personal to them - and a reminder that cultural details can be included in ways that feel natural, modern and fun.

A wedding dress can hold more than a silhouette.

For Laura, it held a sense of self. Her custom Susan Fang gown — featured in Vogue - became part of the story she and Grant created at Amanfayun, Hangzhou: quiet, personal, and entirely their own.

That was the feeling of Tiffany and Adrian’s wedding in Bali. Between the beautiful setting and the carefully planned day, what stood out most was the warmth of their circle—the friends who came with open hearts, the family who were simply happy to be together, and the little in-between moments that can never be planned.

Some weddings stay with you because of the flowers, the setting, or the view. Tiffany and Adrian’s wedding at AYANA Bali will stay with us because of the way the room felt: full of love, gratitude, and people who truly knew them.

From the first speech, there was barely a dry eye. Every story carried a little more of their journey—the quiet support, the laughter, the people who have stood beside them through every chapter. And Adrian? He could not stop crying. The kind of tears that say more than any perfectly written vow ever could.

As photographers, we are often watching for a split second: a hand reaching across the table, a parent holding back emotion, the breath before a hug. But this day gave us something rarer—a whole room willing to feel everything together. There was a particular tenderness in seeing both families and friends lean into those moments together. The laughter was generous, the embraces lasted a little longer, and every familiar face reminded them that a marriage is never begun alone, but embraced by the people who make a life meaningful.

Then came the ending. With sparklers glowing in the Bali night, Adrian began to sing “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.” No performance, no need for perfection—just a groom singing from the heart, surrounded by the people Tiffany and Adrian chose to share this chapter with. It became exactly what he said he wanted: a night spent with everyone they love.
