I have been in a JOURNEY with this woman...
It's been a wild ride
I have allowed her to be broken
I have allowed others to treat her disrespectfully.
I have allowed her to run through brick and walls
And battle for others who won't even stand for her.
I couldn't stop others from abandoning her.
I've seen her fall and rise back up again.
I've seen her faded but still radiates to give light to the world
And manage to love others despite all that.
I stood and watched with fear while she fought battles and won
And sometimes defeated with agony.
This woman screwed up many times in her life as a person, a partner, daughter, sister, mother and even as a friend.
She thought she wasn't worthy of self- love or love from others.
She is smart and sometimes stubborn
She has scars and secrets because of experiences or history.
Some people love her, some like her, and some don't even care at all.
She is passionate and sometimes she's scatter-brained.
She has done good in life and sometimes doesn't do well.
But the most important is she loves God. She also loves and cares for herself.
Every mistake, failure, trial, disappointment, success, joy, achievement has mold her into who she is today.
She will no longer pretend to be she who she is not.
She will make no apologies for who she is.
She is not perfect but she has a lot of worth.
She was gracefully broken but beautifully standing strong.
This woman is a brave WARRIOR, a powerful QUEEN.
She is unstoppable
She is LOVE, LIFE, GRACE, and COURAGEOUS.
She will not cease to learn, grow, and move forward.
SHE is ME!!!!!🙏💪

Father's Day! For the past years I feel very much entitled about this celebration just because I am a single mother. Then it suddenly dawned on me, do I really have the right? Let my children speak up, let them speak up!
