今年雖然唔多係香港潛水，但係觀察同拍攝海魚豐收嘅一年！
當中最深刻包括以下三種：
大部份時間只在百米深海生活嘅印度棘赤刀魚(Acanthocepola indica),
出沒於河口生境嘅紅絲鰕虎(Tomiyamichthys russus)
以及出沒於沙泥底嘅紅衫魚親戚，紅金線魚(Acanthocepola indica)

2024 is a definitely a year of HK fish!
My top three fishes are encounterd in HK are
Indian Bandfish (Acanthocepola indica) which usually llives in deep water over 100m depth,
Ocellated Shrimpgoby (Tomiyamichthys russus) which stays around river mouth and
Rosy Threadfin Bream (Nemipterus furcosus) which live in sandy and muddy bottoms

常見但瀕危的銀杏
The Common but Endangered Ginkgo
每到初冬，東京街頭的銀杏樹就會變成金黃色，吸引無數遊容。可能由於其觀賞性，不只是日本，世界各地都有人種植銀杏。儘管常見，野生的銀杏卻被列為瀕危物種。原生的銀杏樹現在只分佈中國某些地點。
Every early winter, the Tokyo streets will be covered by the golden leaves of ginkgo. Probably due to the beauty of ginkgo, ginkgo is planted not just in Japan but all over the world.
Although it is common seen, the native population of ginkgo is assessed as endangered species. Nowadays, native ginkgo can only been found in some places in China.

- 島嶼特有物 Island Endemism - (Eng below).
由於地理隔離的關係，孤立的島嶼很容易發展出特有物種，這就是為什麼我們很容易在島國(特別是熱帶島國)發現特有物種。
例如，菲律賓就有超過 200 種特有鳥類，其中包括只在該國西南部發現的巴拉望太陽鳥 (𝑪𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒚𝒓𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒖𝒓𝒐𝒓𝒂)。.
Providing great geographical isolation, Isolated Islands can easily develop endemic species, and that is why we can easily find endemic species in island countries, especially those in tropical.
For example, Philippines has over 200 of endemic bird species, including this Palawan sunbird (𝑪𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒚𝒓𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒖𝒓𝒐𝒓𝒂) which is only foundin southwest part of the country..

如果宇宙是一條躄魚，那牠應該是這種顏色。

躄魚很擅長偽裝。

- 蒲原氏擬鱸 Piano Sandperch- (Eng. below).
蒲原氏擬鱸（𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒊𝒔 𝒌𝒂𝒎𝒐𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒊）是亞熱帶魚類，只分佈於香港至日本一帶的水域。在香港，它並不常見，通常在外島才有機會遇到它。
蒲原氏擬鱸的身體底色為白色，並滿佈棕色斑點和圖案。.
Piano Sandperch (𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒊𝒔 𝒌𝒂𝒎𝒐𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒊) is a subtropical reef fish which distributes in northwest Pacific, from Hong Kong to Japan. In Hong Kong, it is an uncommon fish which is usually seen in outer islands.
Piano Sandperch has a white base colour with brown spots and patterns on head and body..

It is believed that males of Spotted Angel (𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙖 𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙙𝙖) use the hair behind their first pair of legs to attract female.

- 香港豬籠草 Hong Kong Pitcher Plant - (Eng. below) .
大部分豬籠草都是肉食性植物，特徵是葉端有一個圓筒形的捕蟲籠。
可能並不是有很多人知道，其實香港也有原生的豬籠草。𝑵𝙚𝒑𝙚𝒏𝙩𝒉𝙚𝒔 𝒎𝙞𝒓𝙖𝒃𝙞𝒍𝙞𝒔是香港唯一的原生豬籠草, 而它更在《香港稀有及珍貴植物》中被列為易危物種，並受所香港法例第586章《保護瀕危動植物物種條例》保護。.
Most pitcher plants are carnivorous plants which use their specialised pitfall trap structure to catch and feed on insects.
Hong Kong actually have one native pitcher plant, 𝑵𝙚𝒑𝙚𝒏𝙩𝒉𝙚𝒔 𝒎𝙞𝒓𝙖𝒃𝙞𝒍𝙞𝒔. This pitcher plant is listed as vulnerable on the Rare and Precious Plants of Hong Kong and is protected under The Protection of Endangered Species of Animals and Plants Ordinance (the Ordinance), Cap. 586.

- 瀕危的肯亞角鴞 . The Tiny Endangered Owl from The Eastern Coast of Africa- (Eng. below).
肯亞角鴞（𝑶𝒕𝒖𝒔 𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒂𝒆）是東非沿海地區特有的小型貓頭鷹。它們生活在東非沿海森林中，分佈範圍非常狹窄而且分散。肯亞角鴞被列為瀕危物種，它們正面臨棲息地喪失和氣候變遷等各種威脅。.
Sokoke Scops-Owl (𝑶𝒕𝒖𝒔 𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒂𝒆) is a tiny owl endemic to the coastal region of east Africa. Living in the coastal forests, they have a very limited and fragmented distribution. Sokoke Scops-Owl is listed as an endangered species. They are facing various threats, such as habitat loss and climate change.
