Vanishing 【杳】 Photo Exhibition Vanishing [杳] Photo Exhibition
by Bradley Aaron + Chris Chow + Simon Mak

Exhibition Opens on Nov

As life moves on and the urban environment changes with time, there are certain peoples, scenes, and cultures that are vanishing.

As observers we use our lenses to capture these disappearing people, places, and moments as they appear in front of us.

作為一個觀察者,我們嘗試用鏡頭,用畫面,去留住那些人,那些景象,那些文化。

This exhibition

brings together three photographers, three points of view, and three ways of capturing the city, peoples, and ways of life at a time when they seem to be vanishing.

三個人,三部相機,用不同的角度,不同的手法,不同的光影,去演繹各自眼中的 [消失]

We're happy to share a new project by Chris Chow, which was just completed for one of his clients. The work brings together a world-class dancer with a local Hong Kong athlete for a stunning visual result!

Simon has been a keen street photographer for a number of years. Through street photography, he is constantly searching for stories and actions that capture the rhythms of everyday life. Each image captures a moment, and reveals a frozen frame of people, places, and actions. After the shutter clicks, a millisecond later the scene shifts and that moment vanishes. It is the search for these "decisive moments" that animates many a street photographer like Simon.

Join us for the opening of our show on November 4th to see the moments Simon has chosen to share.

In the journey of life, people come and go--some bring laughter, some bring tears, and some help you to grow. Regardless of why or how they come, all are destined to stay but for part of the journey, with few staying until the end. All of those who come and go, will, like us, vanish in the end.
