Method Posing 2
In an attempt to create images that connect emotionally with the viewer, authentic expressions must be captured. Instead of directing, a dialogue is established between the photographer and the subject—in this case, the topic of love is discussed to explore each other’s perspectives on connection and relationships.
Much like method acting, this series explores “method posing” as an immersive and intimate approach to capturing authentic imagery by engaging with the subject’s real inner world.
In these photosets, wardrobe, location, pose, and expressions are not predetermined. I drift through the city with Luca and Selene, engaging in deep conversation as I would with my closest friends, with the aim of creating a unique, relaxed, and personal photoshoot experience that mirrors the essence of documentary production.
