I love it when something naturally captures a dog’s attention while I’m photographing them. It is lovely to have them making eye contact with the camera, but I personally prefer it when they’re looking off camera at something we can’t see. Especially in the case of Ren here, who has staring so intently at something up the street. What do you think she was so fixated on? Answers in the comments and I’ll let you know on my stories later…

She’s back back back! That’s right, I’m back in Hong Kong and getting right back to work while the weather is making its way to perfection for outdoors dog photo sessions. This image is of the delightful who I photographed way back in May! A lot has happened since then, I’ve just spent 3 months in the Masai Mara in Kenya working as a resident photographer for a safari camp, for instance. But for the next couple of months I’m looking forward to getting back out there and meeting your wonderful dogs, as we get back to our regular programming! Interested in booking a session? I'm so proud to announce that some of Hounds of Hong Kong’s beautiful wall art samples are now on display in their gorgeous store until October. And just like that, I haven’t posted on IG for what seems like an eternity (bar celebrating Scout’s birthday). Things have been the best kind of busy, and I’m so happy with the amazing studio sessions that took place a few weeks back - so much fun! These days it’s way too hot for me to even consider a dog portrait session outside, but the books are now open for October!
