We had the honour of capturing stories for social content at the 2026 Anthony N. Sabga Awards, Caribbean Excellence, back in June. What an experience it was working with Kristia from Lodestar Inc., and Robert from the Anthony N. Sabga Team. Here's a little sneak peek of the evening's proceedings from our point of view!

We couldn't miss the opportunity to catch up with some of our favourite 'Adorama-ians' at the x 2-Day Creator Event back in October 2025 that was held at . Seth Miranda always brings the energy. The Adorama Events Team always takes it up a notch. Any our SONY Artisan friend, is in a class all by herself. We also got a chance to try out the new Sony 50-150mm f/2. The whole thing was a vibe and a movie --- so we decided to capture it on our Nikon ZR.

We absolutely love shopping at ...but more than that... we love the friends that we've made over the years visiting the store in NYC. There are a lot of great people who work with Adorama --- two of whom were also born in our homeland, Guyana. However, two of our favourite Adorama-ers are .carrion_ and These guys epitomise what excellent customer service is.

We pre-ordered the ZR when it was announced back in early September 2025. The fact that the ZR was scheduled to begin shipping late October coincided perfectly with a NYC Photography Workshop that we were scheduled to attend --- everything was lining up well.

However, due to a technical mix-up with our bank card, our pre-ordered ZR Body was sold a few hours before we arrived to pick it up at the NYC Store. It was sold to a very 'Iucky' walk-in customer --- mind you, at this time the ZR was backordered like crazy and no stores had any in stock. We almost melted in our shoes when Will ran the system and found that the camera had been sold --- we were in the USA for a few days, and Adorama wasn't scheduled to receive a next batch of ZRs from Nikon before we were scheduled to leave the country.

Will recognized our frustration and reassured us that they'd do all they could to help us out. He was determined that we were going to return to Guyana with the Nikon ZR. He encouraged us to hang around the store while he worked his magic --- we agreed. While Will did his thing, Eric from the Used Department was very empathetic and accommodating. He took the time to inspect our Nikon Z8 that we took to trade-in for the ZR.

Not only did Eric give us an excellent value for the Z8 body, but he threw in 'a lil something extra' for the inconvenience. Before long, Will returned with a bright enthusiastic smile on his face --- we don't know who he called or what he said --- but Will saved the day! As he promised, the following day we returned to the Adorama NYC Store and traded in our Nikon Z8 for our very first, spanking-brand-new, Nikon ZR Body. Thanks to the great folks at Adorama NYC!

If you've ever had the pleasure of meeting, or personally knowing Jayson and/or Jamacia --- it is quite evident... this duo got style! For as long as I've known Jayson, he's been a very meticulous chap --- very clean cut and sharp. I first met Jamacia during a consultation re: photography and videography services for their wedding --- and it is safe to say... Sis got style, also! Their wedding was a real vibe and joy to capture and tell the story through photo and video. Fast forward a few years to Christmas 2025, our schedules synchronise and we're able to do Christmas PROTraits (something we tried to do in 2024, but to no avail). It is safe to say it was well worth the wait. Instead of opting for the traditional Christmas themed decor, these two had other plans! This short video snippet highlights a few of the un-edited images we captured during their session.

Finidi had it all planned: her 27th Birthday was going to be memorable and monumental! It started with ! She commissioned one of Guyana's finest creative minds - Keisha Edwards of ShaSha Designs. Ideas mixed with experience, and a potent brew bubbled and overflowed into a masterfully crafted Teal and Silver work of art. I had never before seen or met Finidi in my life --- however, fate had other plans. She asked for a photographer to execute the vision and Keisha shared my contact. We started communicating at the most dangerous time of my work year --- December. We got off to a rocky start but the boat soon found balance and we caught a rhythm that united us around her vision. The day finally came. The vibe was right, the energy flowed, and most of all --- we both had fun and allowed creativity to have it's dance. The images shared in this video are unedited, straight out of camera JPEGS that tell the unfiltered story of 'Finidi's 27 Reasons to Celebrate'! Hopefully, you enjoy this as much as we did!
