Ola na wojennej ścieżce

Ola na wojennej ścieżce Ola decided to take a backpack and go to Mexico to fulfill her dreams.

The name "Ola na wojennej ścieżce" comes from the popular polish book for children written by Alfred Szklarski "Tomek na wojennej ścieżce", what means "Tomek on the war path".

I'm death. Cancún bidded farewell to me in a really sophisticated way. :D
I will shorten the introduction. I'm the morning we stand up with Anna at 7 to arrive to the Isla Mujeres at 9:30 but the bus took us to the wrong place so we had a sightseeing in the hotel zone where I started my carrier as a wedding photographer and then I went alone to an ireland at 13:00 as Anna had to arrive on time to the airport.

As my flight was supposed to have a delay I did not harry up and we took with Armando a longer way passing by his flat (which had a view on the sea and the whole Cancun, from the 15th floor! Amazing

Tulum! I arrived here before yesterday, after a really really long trip through Guatemala and Belize. By the way I didn't like Belize. The nature is as same beautiful as México and Guate but people and prices aren't nice. To make it greater I exchanged all my Quetzal to Belize dollars and now any of mexican banks wants it 😕.
Tulum is very nice although touristic. Yesterday I was diving with Salvador and big fishes. He's in the one of the pictures, however picture's with the whole equipment are on my Nikon ;) Diving was short but I learned at the end how to breath under the water and how to get down without the pain in the ears. It was funny because firstly I couldn't understand how to adapt my organism to presser changes under the water. Salvador wasn't pacient at all and I was pi**ed off :D. Nonetheless finally we went down to see many species of fishes and to swim in the corridors and caves made out of rocks, covered with the seaweed or something green. Fishes were welcoming us inside their underwater towns waggling their glossy tails. After one hour I felt cold although wearing the suit. Diving equipment is really heavy, but you don't feel it under the water.

After diving we ate some tacos and went to the beach. Surprisingly I saw a lot of hippy people. Generally there are a lot of hippy traveling through México especially on the coast side, and I like them. They are not a part of the ugly tourism..The beach we went to, (what was amazing!) Was almost empty. I had interesting conversations with Salvi and even a sparing! Omg I haven't been practicing my beloved kickboxing for such a long time...
Thanks Salvi! In the evening I went for the dinner and drinks with 3 other girls from the hostel. We were: Italian, Spanish, Swiss and me. We had a nice evening, and I had the best of the best meals, during the whole time in Mexico..burrito pastor ;) and close to the place where we ate they killed someone before yesterday. In the next bar we met 4 Czech guys. We will see if they come tonight to the palapa indio ;)

Today I walked up at 6 and managed to visit the ruins before a hord od tourists arrived. At the gate there were waiting for me some Germans. This nation you meet, everywhere you go...Ruins were beautiful, especially in the moments I was alone.. but around 9 it was already horrible..the tourism sucks. This what happens here has noooothink to do with the real México. On the way back when already all shops where opened I met a guy with a huge lizard in his arms and people were crazy to photograph it.
He: Do you wanna a picture?
Me: no thanks
He: Are you scared? It's a pet! Doesn't bite hihihi
Me: no, I'm not, I don't like what you do because it's not a natural environment of this poor animal. This should live in the jungle...
He: but it's a pet! It's like a dog or cat!
Then he starred to cuddle it and kiss..omg I left.

Then on the way to Starbucks the next touristic attraction.. Sourounded by a crowd of gringos a group of "Indians", making a lot of noise, yelling and calling people to make a picture. They look like clowns from the circuit. They wear a colorful feathers on their heads, and their skin is painted, it's a mixture of everything and nothing. Pure kitsch.

Oke. I think it's enough of complaining haha. I gonna do something useful out of this day and go for some sports, there are bikes to rent and a lot of beach -sand to run ;) in the evening I hope to get a good salsa dance ;)

I am again in Flores, visited some caves near by and now finishing the dinner ( tacos de pollo + coffee) ;) it was quite good and coffee excellent! Caves like caves, were ok, I didn't spend there more than half an hour heh.
To the caves brought me a receptionist from the hotel. She told me that it will be 10 quetzal. But she didn't inform me that ⛵price isn't included... ( our hotel is situated on the ireland so you have to go with the lancha anywhere ;) ) the next point was that the lanchero was trying to cheat on me. Crossing the lake costs 2gtq, and he wanted 5... Of course I gave him 2 because I knew already a price. You have to be careful with them, because they have really bad culture of cheating on tourists, especially in places like this. On the last picture is the view from my balcony.. there is lake and hammocks...😀😍it's a pity that I am alone in the room, I miss already noisy hostels where you have always someone to talk with... Actually it's an coincidence that I am in such an attractive place because I came here only to take a bus to Chetumal, which leaves tomorrow at 7am ;)

Ania, you asked me what I do eat ;) here are some pictures of my food from the begging of the trip, in México and Guatemala ;)
The most common is sweet 🍞, it is not on the picture because it's so common that I already used to it, they eat a lot of beans and everything is 🏊 in the fat..so I mostly eat fruits, bread or fryed egs/ omlette. This days I ate food from the supermarket because in the 🏨 there's no restaurant just a small kitchen like in a hostel, so chicken soup in a Powder, crackers, yoghurt with banana, sweet bread, tuna from a can, water , pasta + tuna. The best food was in Huehue in the restaurant where I went with Melanie, Alfonso and kids ;) they had really good egs fried with vegetables and a delicious cheese ( not cheedar! Normally they have only cheedar here). And in México there is the best beer in the world Bohemia!

This was in Tikal ;) in Tikal there are the biggest and most important in the world Maya ruins. I visited Tikal with Nick ;) However pictures of ruins are on our both Nikon's 📷 so they will be presented after coming back ;) We arrived to Tikal around 5 am and it was already crowded..there was so much moisture in the air as it seemed to rain, but it wasn't a real rain, it was just a wet air :p we were heartily welcome by mosquitoes and the mist. Piramides did look misterius, partly covered in the mist clouds.. Surprisingly we found places without tourists and we climbed on the most of piramides including the highest one number V, what was forbidden upsss 🙊 we found monkey's, 2 species : small and big ones. Big monkeys are those from the previous video, I don't know the name but they sound like a jaguar. They howl if they fight about the territory or if it will rain. There were also a lot of parrots and other birds in the jungle. I really loved this trip! Thanks Nick!

Boat Trip to the Crater Azul with Egil Hernan, the best guide I'm Sayaxché ;)in he morning it was extremely cold, and in the afternoon extremely hot! We met only one boat with tourists and they were almost unnoticeable ;) I was swimming the half of the day in the crystal clean and pretty warm water ;) when I didn't swim, small fishes were biting me. I think there are this peeling fishes for which women in Europe pay millions in the beauty salon hahaha. We met monkeys and a lot of birds, and a 🐍 but I couldn't notice him. I am again burned, bitten by mosquitoes and happy! Last picture is with Gerardo, he's working in the hotel and besides him there is no one at the moment here. He is really friendly and would like to travel and learn other languages. I am just trying to give him some information about foundations, couchsurfing and so on. His uncle wanted to take me for a trip on his bike, it was so nice of him..but unfortunately I have to go tomorrow back to Flores.
I really like this village, it is different than everything else. And it is beautiful. Cejrowski was right describing it in his books. :)
