On behalf of Kaloust Paragamian from the Hellenic Institute of Speleological Research - Ινστιτούτο Σπηλαιολογικών Ερευνών Ελλάδας, his son Savvas took us there in order to collect some rare Arthropods (insects, spiders, centipedes etc)

In this cave, which is actually a big chamber 100m long, 40m deep and 60m high, 30 different kinds of animals have been published in academic literature until now.
Therefore the Gravas cave is among the 10 greek caves with the highest biodiversity, something we could confirm just by going in.
