To truly know the Atlas Mountains, you have to look at the people who have guarded them for thousands of years. The Berbers, or Amazigh, call these rugged peaks home, living in mud-brick villages that seem to grow right out of the mountain cliffs.

Up here, the mountain walls are steep and wild, but the people welcome you with the biggest smiles. Life follows the old traditions, from farming green mountain terraces to sharing warm bread and sweet mint tea with travelers. The Atlas Mountains are grand and definitely a unique experience.

It’s not about the journey or the destination.
It’s about who you become along the way.

Here I am, riding a historic steam train from Norden to Corfe Castle in South England, alongside my lifelong fellow travellers, Eugenia Sianou Brittain & Carlos Brittainides

An incredibly immersive experience where, for a little while, it truly feels as if you’ve stepped back in time, into an era when steam trains ruled the railways and every journey was an adventure in itself!

Back in 2021, my friend Alexander Miroforides, (also founder of .gr ) shared an idea with me.

He wanted to create a series of crime and detective novels featuring stories from different authors, and he invited me to create the cover artwork for each one.
Every cover started as a custom photographic concept that I conceived, art-directed, and photographed specifically for each book.

Fast forward to today, and it’s amazing to see how that idea keeps growing. The series is now taking its next step, expanding into audiobooks and reaching even more people.

It’s always rewarding to watch a creative vision evolve over time, and I’m truly grateful to have been part of that journey from the very beginning.

Here’s to bold ideas, the people who bring them to life, and the stories that keep finding new ways to be told.
