After all these years guiding people across Santorini, you’d think I’d have a list of “favorites” ready.

The truth is… some places feel different when you’re not rushing through them—when they’re not just another stop to tick off. Their magic lives in the quiet moments, not the schedule.

But this one never changes.

This small blue-domed church, tucked quietly away from the usual paths, is still one I return to—on my own. No groups, no rush. Just a pause between the wind and the view. A play of light and shadow. The feeling of catching up with an old friend.

We have hundreds of churches here. Each beautiful in its own way. Yet somehow, this one feels different. It doesn’t ask for attention… and maybe that’s why it stays with you.

When I guide, these are the places I try to share—not just what you “should see,” but what you can feel.

If you’re looking to experience Santorini beyond the obvious, I’d be happy to show you my version of the island.

Happy 25th of March 🇬🇷

If you wander around Greece and see many Greek flags waving under the blue sky, it is because today we celebrate one of the most heroic and glorious days in our history: the 25th of March.

For us Greeks, this day feels very special. It marks the anniversary of the War of Independence in 1821, when the Greek people rose up against Ottoman rule and began their long journey toward freedom. It’s a story we grow up with—one of courage, sacrifice, and an unbreakable love for our homeland.

At the same time, it is also a significant religious celebration, honoring the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary—a message of hope, faith, and new beginnings. Could there be a more fitting and uplifting message for this time of the year?

Across the country, you will see student and military parades, and I always find something moving in watching the younger generations march with pride, carrying the Greek flag and keeping our history alive. Even here in Santorini, there is a special feeling in the air—quiet, respectful, and full of meaning.

And of course, today has its flavors too. It is tradition to gather around the table and enjoy cod fish with rich garlic sauce (bakaliaros skordalia). It might sound simple, but it’s a dish full of character—just like the day itself. Would you try it?

If you are here with us, take a moment to pause, look at the blue and white around you, and feel what this day represents. It is not just a celebration—it is a living story of identity, faith, and freedom.

Happy 25th of March from Santorini 🇬🇷

Hi, I’m Eugenia 🤍

Feel like a local with Eugenia.

Santorini is my home — and I believe you deserve to experience it at its best.

When you explore the island with me, it’s not about rushing or following the crowds. It’s about moving thoughtfully, choosing the right timing, and understanding what makes this place truly extraordinary. The iconic caldera views, of course — but also the quiet elegance of hidden paths, authentic villages, and moments most visitors miss.

You won’t just take photos.
You’ll understand the history.
You’ll feel the rhythm of the island.

As we walk, locals greet us with a warm “Kalimera.” Conversations happen naturally. Doors open. You’re not just seeing Santorini — you’re experiencing it from the inside.

There’s a difference between visiting a destination and discovering it properly.

Trust the expert.
You deserve the best version of Santorini — curated, authentic, and unforgettable.

I would be honored to welcome you.

Eugenia 🤍✨

Perched high above the caldera, the ruins of Oia Castle are the most famous and visited sunset spot in Oia — and for good reason. 🌅

From here, the sky melts into shades of gold, blush, and violet as the sun dips into the Aegean Sea, wrapping the whitewashed homes of Santorini in the softest glow. It’s the postcard moment everyone dreams of.

In the height of summer, this iconic viewpoint becomes a sea of travelers — cameras raised, shoulders brushing, everyone waiting for that magical second when the sun touches the horizon. The energy is electric, unforgettable… and beautifully chaotic.

But off season? ✨
A different kind of magic.

The crowds fade. The pathways quiet. The breeze carries only the sound of the sea below. You can linger, breathe, and truly take in the colors of the sky without rushing. The sunset feels personal — almost like it’s just for you.

If you’ve ever wanted to experience Santorini’s most legendary sunset without the summer rush, this is your sign. Off-season travel offers better availability, more intimate moments, and the same world-class views.

Book your stay now and discover Oia Castle at its most serene. 🌊🤍

visit to the Akrotiri Archaeological Site 🏺

Yes, Santorini is famous for views, photos, and sunsets.
But sometimes, it’s nice to slow down and step into something deeper.

Akrotiri is one of those places.
Often called the “Greek Pompeii,” it’s one of the world’s most fascinating archaeological sites — yet surprisingly few people know its story.

Here’s the gist:
1️⃣ A massive volcanic eruption ~4,000 years ago
2️⃣ A big mystery: what happened to the people before it all unfolded?
3️⃣ Remarkably preserved buildings that still feel alive today

With a guided visit, the history comes together naturally — no rush, no overload, just stories that make sense as you wander.

💡 Good to know:
The whole site is under a modern roof — no sun, no heat, no stress. You can enjoy it comfortably at your own pace.

I will never get tired of saying that Santorini is way more than sunsets.
Its countless Orthodox churches and chapels create moments of quiet celebration, devotion, and timeless beauty—best felt in the calm of the off season. 🤍

Yesterday, the Orthodox Church celebrated Ipapanti (Υπαπαντή) — the Presentation of Christ in the Temple.
A day of meeting, light, and fulfillment of promise.

Follow me to a place where faith and history are carved into volcanic ash.
In the quiet village of Vothonas stands Panagia Sergena—small, humble, and celebrating yesterday and the locals celebrated the way they should! .
An authentic Santorini moment.

Our hearts got filled with gratitude, grace and genuine connection.
my wish is to gather with authentic people and enjoy the small things that are those that matter the most. May we always recognize the light when it appears in our lives

FYI: these are the real stories only a few can tell you about. So grateful to be one of them 🙏
